Pure Power
Finally I completed my all AMD gaming rig, everything has been just fine, the card is exactly as described and with a great build quality. Not to mention the great customer service and support.Five star!

Good, but Great
Was really excited to get this card despite having to pay over $2 grand because of the chip shortages. It runs games pretty good, but every now and then the card stops sending a signal to the monitor and your SOL.

Got a defective card
Had problems with the drivers deleting themselves and got a 43 code. I think this is a AMD problem but it was drawing 600 watts on GPUz. Can't even play games anymore

value/performance well it depends on what you pay. I paid 500. my starts are based on that
TBH this is not the card I get I see all these review of 5 stars. This is objectively not the best car, nor are any of the msi cards in this generation.Their cooler doesn't use a cold plate. It's direct heat pipe. The issue is contact is not smooth. While you might see low temps because it's a massive cooler the junction (hot spots are high). Look it up anything related to msi where the value is reported using this cooling style (most of their stuff) it's a problem they know about.Gaming, by default, you'll see temps 60-70 on demanding games, but the junction is 90 in a high airflow case. That's absolute crap. There are a few things to consider here. the delta between hot and cold areas it's hard on a chip to have such uneven heating, and two no matter what they tell you 110 is spec it's better to be lower. To get lower you have to crank fans. The second thing I loathe is no dual bios. And this card, like many msi cards are so over clocked which I also don't like. You may say it's fair not to complain but I only bought the because it's available. Over clocking gpus gpus is overrated and here's my case. You get maybe 4-5 % more performance for insanely more heat, and noise. It's really lame. I actually undervolt, and lower the power level. Just lowering the maximum power level by a few percent, and dropping the voltage back down to 1150 where it should be my temps drop to amazing even with the crappy cooler on this thing the junction temp is like 68c which is fine, and honestly less heat in my room less noise, and there is no discernible difference. If your going to get a card like this and spending what a lot of people get at least try to get a dual bios because you can set one to sane levels. I think the tuff series is a better options, it's clocked more appropriately, built better and has a cold plate. The vrm, and capacitance of this card is good. It doesn't really matter though what matters is everything tuned up well together, and IMO the cooler is really what your paying for with these aibs and this is massive, and actually worst than stock.IN conclusion I don't know how MSI arrived at this design. They do the same thing on the Nvidia cards too. It gets no attention, I 'm a bit surprised usually people are up on this. I frankly didn't notice either until I put it in my machine and start looking around at what the hell was going on.Amd made a good chip. but over clocking like this kills the optimal zone of the gpu couple with a bad cooer design is the text book reason why a lot of people hate aibs that just don't give a crap. They could have spent another 10 dollars and had a proper cold plate we aren't even talking about a vapor chamber. All the other aibs did this. This card is much ado about nothing. get Asus, xfx. etc. Maybe if your a water cooler person, but honestly water cooling isn't that necessary if you get one of these with a good air cooler.I got this for 500 so I mean even with the new stuff coming out I'm hanging onto it, because I don't want to have to fight over new gpus and over pay. I'll buy next generation at the end of next generation just like I did with my 1080 ti. Gpus are too expensive. If you bought one of these last year during the Ponzi scheme it's a good lesson, I'm sorry but over paying for this is absurd. This card doesn't do much more than my xbox to be frank.Overall between amd and Nvidia it's hard this generation. It either diss or the vram. I picked the ram with a discount. I can see going the other way. I tried the 3080 as well it's very good if your trying to pick between the two I really think it comes down to that. The amd drivers are fine now. There are a few annoyances though. I notice that the gpu software doesn't always launch with windows, and I had to reinstall a couple of times because I kept getting watt man crashes because I was lowering the power limit I wanted it to run.Eventually the fix to this card where you can make the cooler not matter is to get a custom bios and set it to stock. I'm running it like stock. Dual bios would have been way better since if the bios has an issue you don't brick the card. All overclock cards IMO should have this option as well so you have an easy out. You really are running the card out of the ideal zone, it doesn't kill the card as everyone points out, but you aren't in the sweet spot and for the minuscule performance you are paying a high price in noise and heat. bad trade.

Incredibly poor value at point of sale
With no real effort by any retailer or mfg to mitigate the poor customer experience with incredibly overvalued products and inflated prices, this gets a poor rating.

Work flawlessly
So I won't lie, at first I was disappointed because I received a defective unit (black artifacts) after 2 weeks of narrowing down the problem it came out there was only the GPU left to blame. I then proceeded a return with the company (trough amazon) they accepted and contacted me through Amazon where I described the issue and everything I tested to find out the card was defective they offered to either refund me or replace the card with a new one (which I accepted) and the second unit has no issues and most important I don't get artifacts anymore! Amazing card for playing in 4k or 1440p :) very satisfied how the company handled the return 5 star because they made it simple and hassle free for me. Only thing to note is they made me pay shipping for the return instead of sending me a rma code from Amazon. Other than that, I'm very satisfied of the card and company.
