Great for your spare key organization. Looks good also and easy to hang on wall.

This key box replaced a plastic key box that was old and had cracked. Metal is much better suited to this application. Holds many keys, came with key tags, and it's lockable.

Easy to hang up, however, after organizing all the keys and trying out locking it up. Because the keys were bulky the latch for locking it got stuck and fortunately we were able to unlock it without busting it open. However would recommend it for smaller keys and perhaps not use up every slot, with increasing the chance of over stuffing the box and accidentally locking yourself up out of the box because the latch got jammed/caught by the keys that are in the way. But its a great option for the price. Just don't use all of the slots or over stuff it.

OOPS. Update. I did not use this box for several months. Recently I almost missed a flight, trying to get to my car keys. Being the first time I had locked the box, car keys inside, the lock and door somehow became ceased. It took a heavy screwdriver to open it. To the boxes credit, it doesn't appear damaged. When I returned from my trip, I locked it again, to see if I could do so without causiing it to freeze-up again. It froze again.I now use it with no key because it did help me organize my keys inventory. But locking it is out.This is the first and only disappointment I have had with Amazon Basic's products and I am a big fan, so I am writing this experience off as bad luck. Now, then, IF I HAD MISSED MY PLANE... :-)PREVIOUS COMMENTS: Mounting on my office wall required attaching a piece of wood to two studs & then mounting the key box to that piece of wood. (It looks fine.) I now have a secure box for all of the keys. I don't have a recommendation, but I would prefer a better design for hanging keys. There is a divider panel that swings between the two outside panels that is in the way of simple closing the bos. Still, this is a good value and works fine. I will get used to it. It came with key holders and individual key ID tags. Glad I have it because I can now go to the box and get the correct key and my desk drawer isn't cluttered with keys. I have rentals and this is a real time saver.I am a big fan of Amazon Basic products. So far, nothing has been a disappointment for me, inicluding this key box.

The cabinet is well made having a powder coated steel body with a full length piano hinge welded to the cover. The separation between the interior wall and outside cover is a little tight for modern automobile key fobs or large key chains. The cabinet is easy to hang with the supplied hardware and includes key markers as well as adhesive numbers for the hooks.So far the only draw back has been the adhesive numbers, you have to install them yourself and they have begun to fall off.Overall I would buy again.

This product is easy to install, the function is good a quality sturdy lightweight metal and holds slot of different size keys.
