Brentwood MPI-59W Steam Iron with Retractable Cord, White

So far I have only used the iron once and it took a minute to figure out how to turn it on but it worked perfectly. My original iron died after probably 15 years (maybe more)I so I had find a replacement, I had to return a first replacement because it leaked terribly in use so I was pleased that it was not the case with this item. Also, my original iron had a retractable cord so that was also important in my decision. This iron had that feature for a reasonable price since I don't iron as much anymore, I didn't want to break the bank. All in all, I have happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Well, it looks like something out of the future. Unbelievable, it has a retractable cord. That eliminates one really bad thing from my past experience. The trying to make this miniature appliance nice and neat when storing was a task achieved only by Martha Stewart. The retractable cord, who knew. The color is green and goin green is where we all should be headed. The size is smaller and has a space age look. I don’t think I will be buying another iron in my lifetime but happy to go through what’s left with this one.

Used only once so far- I don’t iron much. It heats up quick and gives a good press. However, the iron stays hot for a long time, in my opinion. It was probably 15 minutes and I went back to check if it was cool enough to store away. It was not. It took a while to cool down.

Very reasonably priced I’ve used it a couple times works perfect. You can actually see the waterline in it how far to fill it which I could not see in my old one and the best feature I like is that it has a retractable cord and so ultra convenient perfect value.

After I used it once it never worked again. Iron wouldn’t go on. So disappointed. I liked the Teflon plate and retractable cord. The cord doesnt retract either after using it once. This was supposed to be new. I can’t send it back because I don’t have the boxes it came in. I only iron when I need to and it’s been over one month. I thought it was such a good buy. Not really.
