Great little sand pit, the sandbox is safe to use, it is functional - closing with boards protects the sand from rain and unnecessary germs, at the same time it functions as a bench with a backrest so that children can sit safely, additionally it has a roof that protects from excessive sun. my girls love it :)

Good product for the money, however one design fault. With the two bars at the top holding the canopy being so close together only 2" to 3" apart they snag on the vertical bar holders preventing the canopy from being tilted more than a few degrees. It would be much better if the top bars were say 8" apart allowing the canopy to be fully tilted for maximum sun shading.

This sand pit is not fit for purpose, we’ve had it 11 months, so it’s spent one winter in the garden. It’s an outdoor sand pit but the wood used is clearly not safe for this, the whole thing inside and out on the wood is riddled with black mould.We have a wooden outdoor Wendy house from Costco that been outside for over 2 years and we’ve had no issue at all.To make matters worse I reached out to the seller who advised they cannot help or replace as it’s out of its 6 month warrenty.It’s no wonder then it only had a 6 month warrenty as is clearly built to only last one summer. Which then raises the question of price. DO NOT BUY. Get a wooden one made with cedar wood and will not become a health hazard
