Interesting 12''versions of 80s songs. Like all the now album's the sound engineering is brilliant with excellent tone punchy notes and a great split across the speakers. I'm finding a lot of new cds I'm buying to be very badly engineered I don't know if it's diminished skill levels in the industry or if they are intended to be streamed or listened to on poor systems.However the now series are expertly engineered, they are also very good value, in fact a bit of a bargain. I'm slowly building up a little collection of them and they are getting a good amount of listening time which is always a good sign. They all seem to have that certain feel good factor. Highly recommended.

Nice collection of 12 inch versions of hits from the 80's. Aldough I must admit that sometimes the single version is better than the 12 inch version.

42 tracks for less than a tenner. 12" mixes too, some of which I've not heard since the 1980s! They're all pretty good, though clearly with such a range there's stuff here that is not going to be liked by everyone, and I'm sure that there will be comments here as much about what isn't included as what is !But for me Queen, Ultravox, the extended version of Yello's The Race and the epic version of the Sun Always Shine on TV are all wonderful. Anything with a touch of Trevor Horn epitomise the 80s for me and sounds marvellous - so Two Tribes, Dollar, Propaganda all score for me. The Mike Oldfield makes a pleasant surprise. The 12" version of You Spin Me Round might just make this collection worth the price alone, and I wouldn't say it was normally my kind of music.All in all it's a nice selection. And for less than £10 a bargain.

I was a mobile DJ in the 80s and the 12" mixes were my saviours when I needed to "visit the bathroom". There is so much good music on here and as others have said the sound quality is amazing. I cannot see anything about them being remixed but clearly they have been enhanced in some way. I have been playing it in the car - loud!! I have had some odd looks when stopped at traffic lights especially when "Blue Monday" or "You Spin Me Round" are playing probably because I play them extra loud as they deserve. So many classics and some versions I don't think I had heard before even as a DJ. Highly recommended! And "mine is the last voice you will ever hear!" Brilliant.

Before this was released I read quite some criticism about this being a VERY standard collection with many (or most) tracks being available on other similar compilations. That might be true but this is indeed a "best of" consisting of the very, very best 12" of the 80's and it includes some excellent 12" not yet found elsewhere. Best of all; the audio quality is breathtakingly good ! Each and every track sounds brand new and fresh. Not sure if all tracks have been remastered but this is excellent value for money. Hey, I'm so happy with this set that I'm typing a review while singing along with my favourite tracks. Recommanded for all 80's fans. I sure would buy a follow up to this set.

Wow what fun I had reliving these classic pop tunes had me kicking my heels clapping my hands and stamping my feet to feel good timeless great pop tunes from The Duran boys to the Spandau guys, Frankie to Queen, New Order classic to Billy Ocean's top hit its just hit after hit after hit there's not a song I don't know all of them huge hits I definitely think they should do another compliation as so many more 12" they could use this is so worth the money the 80's were the decade of huge pop hits and 12" records

There is nothing wrong with this compilation at all, it is just so similar to hundreds of others, which given NOWs market leading pull is disappointing. Modern Romance's High Life is new to CD for me and Radio Ga Ga has only been on Queen's 12'' Collection but other wise a good selection of 80s classics extended. The highlight is of course Nile Rodgers' radical reworking Dance Mix of The Reflex ;) Please NOW, search a bit harder, there are many people on 80s forums who will tell you what they want to be exhumed!

I am completely satisfied with this set.This compilation is composed of 47 hits in long version gathered on 4 CD set.This box set is excellent in every way. The sound is excellent as well as the choice of songs, all great hits.There are a few that I was either waiting for the first time or I already had 12" versions of these songs on CD, but they were different 12" versions than the ones offered in this box set.So I'm happy to have it in my CD collection.I highly recommend this set.This album was released in 2021 on the label Now That's What I Call Music LLP. 選曲の良さと、当時12インチレコードだったバージョンのアルバムで、とても気に入ってます。好きな曲は長く聴きたいし、リミックスでただ長くしただけじゃないのが良いです。

While a lot of the 12” mixes have been available on other compilations, I still loved hearing them and especially the ones I don’t have in my collection like Radio Ga Ga , High Life and some I didn’t even know had 12” Billy Joel and Bill Medley.
