What ever glue they use is crazy.
Works as advertised. The glue they use for the adhesive is crazy strong. My only issue was with the duel zipper. It gets caught up on the plastic when trying to cut the plastic.

Clean Room
We used these during a bathroom remodel to keep dust and dirt out of other rooms, but still be able to access the rooms. Worked great a kept dust and dirt to a minimum while this project was being completed.

Short lived
Worked great for about two weeks they came loose from the plastic. Reinforced it with stronger tape and that lasted another two weeks because there isnโt enough material to tape overIf you are the only one in your shop you might be able to extend its life. But of you share space, as I do, keep looking

Still the best out there
I have purchased this zipper multiple times because it is the best available.Cons:The best method I have found is to put the zipper on the plastic wall, and immediately run high adhesion (like Gorilla) tape along each side before cutting through the center. When I didn't do this, the zipper would work itself away from the plastic, but the adhesive on the fabric would still be there.Pros:Best out there!Box includes 2 zippersThere is a piece of metal on one end to keep you from unzipping it too far.Other Thoughts:If you are attaching this to a plastic wall, it is pretty easy for the excess plastic to get stuck in the zipper. Even though this is annoying, I have had no problem with the zipper being able to force through 3mm sheeting.

A Perfect Solution For Dust Containment in Remodeling
These zipwall zippers work great for any remodeling project where you need to seal off an area but still have access a few times a day.Installation is easy. Just install the plastic (heavy duty plastic sheet aka "visqueen") tight and seal the edges with tape or staples or both. Then install the zipper using the easy peel and stick adhesive back (install with the zipper closed)... then unzip (open) the zipper and cut the plastic with a sharp knife. That's it. If you plan to use the zipper frequently you may want to trim excess plastic from the inside of the zipper so it doesn't get caught in the zipper.Works great. Easy. No complaints.

who let the dogs out?
This zipper pastes onto plastic sheeting stretched across an opening; perfect for a dusty remodel job where occasional access is needed to or from the "other side". It also is quite effective at keeping children and pets from forcing their way into the work zone which is bound to happen if the plastic is just hanging there. Just that benefit alone could easily justify using these. I like dogs, but not in my freshly set tile. And I love kids, but around my nail guns? You get the idea. This is more than just a zipper, it gives me a little extra piece of mind. The zipper can have a tendency to bind or jam after a couple weeks of regular usage but not enough (in my mind) to lower it's rating. I am satisfied and will continue to buy and use this product.

Works Great
If you're not a dummy, then these zippers will work fine. I installed these on plastic sheeting BEFORE hanging the sheeting. Makes it much easier to install. I was sure to clean the plastic free of dust/debris in order to get stronger adhesion. I also used Gorilla Glue duct tape on the each edge of the seams to make sure it stayed in place. I've been using the zippers everyday for 3 weeks straight and they are still perfect.

Perfect in-house isolation
I was fitting out a study in an otherwise completed house, including installing, sanding, and finishing hardwood floors. This ZipWall isolated the room so well that dust outside the study was unchanged from normal life. Prepping drywall for paint and sanding the floors created huge amounts of dust, but it was extremely well contained. It also kept the odor of curing tung oil on the floor isolated, so the remainder of the house didn't stink. The only noted negative, which was easily fixed, was a constant pull on the zipper/plastic sheet adhesive, caused by an exhaust fan I had sucking fumes out of the house, caused the zipper to pull away from the plastic. It was, however, easily reattached.
