Thomas & Friends Toy Train Accessory

My son is huge Thomas fan. He builds incredible layouts that cover most of our basement. I'm always impressed with ideas he comes up with. This was a nice addition to his Trackmaster collection. The plastic is thick and sturdy. The middle turntable moves easily. This works with all Thomas and Friends Trackmaster compatible track.

This actually works really well. As long as one has enough track to work with, almost anything can be made with this. My son has enjoyed having this and built his own little tidmouth sheds out of legos to go with it.

A little tight to turn the turntable, but it does click into place at each track. A little frustrating for my 4 year old at first, but he is enjoying it very much.

It works great as a turntable, and is easy to put together, however it has 2 less track spots to turn off onto than the previous turntables, it will not accommodate the older Trackmaster tender engines as it is not long enough (the whole Turntable is about the length of one of the longest pieces of straight track, this is including the brown sections the engines pull up to); and at current there is not a Tidmouth Sheds to accompany the named Tidmouth Turntable. There is a stop-go lever on it, which does work for all of the current Trackmaster Revolution engines, and the table is slightly awkwardly arched in the center to allow new tender engines to fit (or one engine + one wagon), but it does work reasonably well.For the price it's being offered, it's not a bad way to expand one's Trackmaster railway, but I wish they'd improve upon the design the next time they make a turntable, hopefully for the sheds...?

fun addition to our trackmaster track collection. Only hooks to the newer style, but that is ok if you know that in advance, gives a lot of playing options!

Durable and a nice edition to the track. It can be taken apart. It's nice if you have tidmouth sheds though to attach to one side.

What an awesome piece of track! This has breathed life into a whole load of track, making it possible to join multiple standalone kits together in a relatively easy way. The other neat thing is that it quickly becomes the centre of attention as you (or your kids, if you let them play with it) will need to be changing the turntable nearly all the time to make sure trains route between loops correctly. A really neat piece of kit that I'd say is almost essential if you've got a few trackmaster sets. One other thing to mention - it's not the longest piece of track and it won't acoomodate engines pulling several trucks. But the stop/go level is pretty handy and you should be able to fit an engine + tender (like Gortdon or Hiro) on the turntable and still turn it.
