5 stars for product, 3 stars for supplier
Very pleased with the Moerman product - rate it 5 STARS *****Not so pleased with Gaiam as a supplier 3 STARS or less ***, as the product was just taped between two pieces of cardboard and arrived with one leg sticking out the bottom (but then shipping was "free"). The product as received had two cosmetic defects, a minor gouge that looked already rusted, and a broken bit of one plastic foot. Neither of these defects affected the functionality and did not seem worth the hassle of return/replacement for a product whose total cost was $25.The drying rack itself is great. Hard to figure out exact dimensions from posted product description on Amazon et al., but each side is 20 inches wide, about 35 inches from bottom to top of hinge and about 32 inches from bottom to top of highest rung (nearest hinge). Except for the gouged rung in our product received, the product is very nicely finished and the plastic gear-toothed hinges allow you to easily and securely lock the rack in a variety of positions from sides together to 180 degrees or more apart (flat out). Although light, the rack appears pretty sturdy (it's made of coated steel) and easily supports two bath towels when wet, wash cloths, etc. Fits nicely and attractively in our master bath tub to provide extra drying space while we normally use our separate shower.

Smaller than I thought
It's probably my mistake, but I thought this rack would be bigger. I was looking for an outdoor drying rack and this one does not hold much. It folds out nicely though and is well made. Definitely more for use inside.

Not a sturdy or usefull drying rack
I think this piece of equipment is altogether useless. The bars are spaced too close to each other it is not comfortable to hang clothes on them. Also they are too short, if you have a large man's T shirt it will not fit without being folded over. Too small and not very usefull if you are thinking of drying a full load of laundry, spent a bit more but get something sturdy and that will hold more clothes.

Good on my balcony, not the bathtub though.
I really love this for drying clothes on my balcony. I tried propping it on the bathtub but for some reason it just doesn't want to stay on there. I'll figure it out eventually though. I am going to get rubber mats so they don't slide off. But as my bathtub is attached to the wall, it won't sit on the sides like it does in the pictures. Not a big deal though since I bought these for the balcony in my apartment. They are skinnier than I expected but they work wonderful anyway. Each bar can hold one adult shirt or pair of pants or 2 of my washcloths. They fold flat and store nicely in my pantry. I am really happy with these. 4 stars because they slide off the tub, even with the blue holders down.

Only useful for free standing tubs
We bought it as an alternative to the Minky over bath dryer (IH87100001)which we already have one of and which has worked wonderfully in the past few years. Unfortunately it is no longer available anywhere, not even through the U.K. manufacturer. This Moerman model is not a good substitute. As others have noted it doesn't work on the kind of tub most people have, namely a tub that is flush against a wall. It may work well on a free standing tub if you have that.

Great Solution for apartment/condo living!
I would despise buying hand wash and "lay flat to dry" clothes when I lived in a condo. Where did they think I had enough space to lay all my sweaters flat to dry? I'd end up having to hand wash one every other day, cause I only have enough counter space to lay one at a time. And hanging delicates to dry was always such a dilemma since I couldn't fit a full load on my towel rod, so I'd have to spread the rest around my place and lay plastic under them so the dripping water wouldn't damage my hardwoods. What a pain! This was such a great and easy solution - fit right over my tub (I could fit it both in the tub, and above the tub propped against the walls surrounding my tub) so all the water would drip right into the tub, and it gave me enough rod space to hang a full load (and then some). When I stretch it above my tub, it would be close enough to flat that I could also "lay flat to dry" clothes across it (it has a slight bend/angle in it, but not enough to stretch your clothes). And when not in use, it folded up nice and flat, and I would store it behind my bathroom door - you won't even know it was there. This made laundry so much easier!

surprisingly heavy, arrived with a broken rung
The drying rack is surprisingly heavy; I guess all that lacquered metal adds up. It does seem very adaptable, even though, as others have noted, it does not sit on the edges of the tub as intended. There are really many ways to adjust so that it leans on one wall, or over the tub, etc. It came packaged well enough, but one rung on the rack was broken off from the supporting rod on one side, and the place where it was supposed to be soldered was rusty.

will be returning
The description of this item should mention that it does not work with a bathtub that is built into or is against a wall. It would only work with a stand-alone bath tub NOT up against a wall. Most tubs in US homes are against a wall, unless you have a clawfoot or some other special tub. I gave 2 stars because the quality seemed okay, but this item did not function the way I would have hoped - over a tub. If I was going to be putting it onto the ground or propping on a wall or sink, not over a bathtub, I would've ordered a different type of drying rack. Unfortunately, I will be returning.
