Just say NO !
Ordered three boxes to replace older damaged 12 inch squares ... but they are NOT 12 inch squared, each tile is maybe 1/8 of a inch or so to off...so they will not line up correctly with perfect 12 inch tiles and leave a gap if you try to replace a old square with one of these. If you look at the grooves or lines on the tile you can see they are cut at an angle as the last line or groove is not even.When I pulled the paper backing off of the squares, a lot of the glue was tacky and stuck to the paper not the tile, bah humbugNot happy at all with them.

I highly recommend
Super easy and really classes up the joint. I like the checkerboard look, so I alternated the weave from tile to tile, but you can always keep the stripes in line or make any other design you'd like...12 x 12, super easy peel off back, super easy to reposition, cut to size, whatever you need. Not the thickest out there, but for the bath, we didn't want that. I highly recommend.

Not 12" square.... Don't buy.
These are actually not 12 inch square, they are 11.88 inches square. Or as the box says, 30 CM. Additionally, the squares all vary in size so keeping them lined up is an adventure. The only reason they get a 2nd star is because they do stick well.

Meh, not great
I put these down in a lightly traveled office area. Within 2 weeks, they started to fray and pull up. They're just not made that well.

Install was very easy, all squares were very uniform
Install was very easy, all squares were very uniform. Now a few weeks later, I can see some of the carpet pulling up, similar to a berber carpet with snags. Overall we're satisfied.

You may have to glue down some pieces or all.
Between all of the boxes none had the same adhesion type. One box was completely unusable. I had to purchase more and use carpet adhesive. It looks nice though.

Not sticky!
These were barely sticky on the back side. I bought these to cover my basement stairs. Ended up using a staple gun to keep them in place, and they still have separated a bit. What I was hoping would be a longer term solution to my basement stairs, is going to need replaced after less than a year. Buy the ones at the dollar store, they have an excellent adhesive, these were awful!!

Careful of size! Not exact
The size square is not exact so using these squares would have meant cutting a square into one inch strips to fill the gaps or return and use another product. I chose to return it.
