Great paint palette for watercolor painting. It’s small, about the size of a coffee cup saucer. Cleans up very easy.

I like porcelain best for watercolors because it doesn't stain. This one doesn't disappoint. I like that it has so many wells. Of course, the size & number of wells makes it a bit heavy, so maybe not the best palette for plein aire use. I do have to be careful when using it because it's fairly easy to slop one color over the wall into the next well, especially when you're using a larger brush.

I love this product. It has several different sections that I can place my paint colors a day allows me to mix paint. Very durable and easy to clean.

When I began water painting a few years ago, I tried a metal palette, then a plastic palette. Even a disposable palette. I didn't like any of them. I googled what type of palette tray was best. Water color artists preferred ceramic. So I bought this one and love it! (the paint doesn't separate like it does on metal or plastic.) It cleans easily and doesn't stain like plastic. It's small but adequate for me. But I did order another just like it, for "as needed". . . when I have a larger variety of color going on. I noticed that MEEDEN also sells a packet of 3. So, anyway . . . YES, I love this ceramic palette tray.

Easy to clean and great for mixing colors.

Love this palette for its well size, smoothness, sturdiness, and ease of cleaning. It stays right where you put it and doesn’t move. (Yay!) I wouldn’t use it for travel, too heavy and it might get broken. That’s what the little plastic ones are for!

I am an artist who commonly uses acrylic paint. This ceramic mixing dish is perfect for when i want to mix up a substantial amount of a given color and especially when I want a few different shades in substantial amounts. Without a dish like this, one struggles with paint spreading too far on the pallet and it gets more difficult to manage the more the quantity you are mixing. The dish is just about the right size and shape with each area on the dish holding at least an ounce of paint. (Figure two tablespoons).I knocked a star off of the overall review because mine is not perfectly flat on the bottom, so that it rocked/wiggled a little bit if you applied pressure to one certain side of the dish. I speak in past tense because I easily fixed this by placing a small felt pad on the bottom of the dish in the right location to stop the wiggling (A pad like the kind you use for protection of a hardwood floor from furniture feet). Even if I didn’t bother to do that, the dish would still have been totally functional. I am just a perfectionist by nature. Overall very happy with this item. It is easily cleaned and well shaped for its function.

Super easy to clean. Mixtures are easily done and understandable for colours. I use this specifically for india ink, the wells are quite large so you can mix a lot in each.

These are so useful that I want to have a few more on my shelf! Bright white so you can see the true colour of your paint, smooth surface with no corners so it's incredibly easy to clean up. Not at all delicate. The wells are a reasonable size and will hold plenty of paint.
