Did no one proof read this?
Overall its a good concept but , the "fan" that wrote this book probably watched it one time. I consider myself a fan an have watched the entire season over 6 times and i can tell you for a fact that Dwights girlfriend was NOT named Jessica, that was Andys. There are mistakes on here that anyone that is a real fan would catch instantly and also seems like the author might have made some stuff up along the way to fit the plot, for things that weren't really explained in the show. For the season 4 overview, Holly and Michael are on the cover sheet but not once did it mention a huge part! That they dated! On Donna Newton it says she visited the office to buy paper, anyone that might have skimmed over the show would say that, since its a paper company right? WRONG, at this point the were already selling printers and she was wanting to buy printers for the job.Theres a section in the book where you "Ask Accounts" what does that even mean? I'm sure you meant "Ask Accounting" since it goes into asking the team individual questions. It also explains how Jim and Michael became co-managers, saying that Michael will be handling clients and Jim will be handling day to day stuff, well the real situation was that Michael was handing the big picture stuff, let your mind figure out what that is supposed to be, but that was the fun of it.Of course everyone remembers Dwight being interim Manager and him firing a gun that cost him his position, but the author describes it as "Jo discovered that he keeps a loaded gun in the office, resulting in her asking him to step down immediately" . Are you referring to when Michael told Pam that he keeps a loaded gun in his office and if he starts acting like that weenie Gabe to use it on him?Theres also of Dundie awards winners and i dont remember Darryl getting the Moving on Up Award or Oscar getting the Worst Salesman of the Year. When Nellie took Andys job it is described that he was demoted by Robert for throwing a chair at him and punching through a wall. Also incorrect info. The also describe Pams 2nd pregnancy as an occurrence from having a romantic valentines day with Jim? Clever but never stated in the show. The author describes the Finale as follows " Jim and Pam return home and Pam's real estate agent mom is there selling the house." This could not be more wrong!Pretty disappointing overall, not to mention there are grammatical errors. Good try though i guess.

A gift from my granddaughter
My granddaughter gave me this book for Mother's Day because she knows The Office is my favorite TV show. Even though I didn't discover it until a year ago, I've watched the entire series straight through at least a dozen times on Netflix and the final season (which I love the best) several more times. So while I enjoyed this book, I have to agree with the reviewers who pointed out the numerous errors. I won't repeat them but they were a little bit distracting. And I had trouble several times figuring out who the illustrations were supposed to represent. But all in all, I love the book, because of my love for my granddaughter and the show.
