I love this book. It's so delightful and funny and perfect.

Oh man. This book is beautifully written and illustrated. I loved every single page.

I ordered Directions as soon as it was announced because I am such a big fan of Hallie and her work. It’s human, it’s warm, it’s funny, it’s a little weird, and it’s truly personal in a way that a lot of “cute” illustrative art can accidentally lose in the process.This could be self-help, it could be “cheer up,” it could be “thinking of you,” it could be “idk what to get you so here’s this book” and in all cases the reader will find something that resonates. Hopeful but not blind optimism!Really shocked at the production value for $12.95 this is a full color hardcover book on nice not-too-thin paper, it will look great on your shelf or round out a perfect little care package.

This book is such a treat. I can already tell it will be one that I grab off off the shelf over and over again for encouragement. Highly recommend! The perfect gift for literally anyone.
