Glad I purchased these a size larger. My big toe is literally at the point of the shoe. I love them, I didn't realize they were so light weight. I don't think the heel is really 4 1/2 inches, but that is even better. They are comfortable as well. Love them! I finally found an event for them.

These boots are so nice. The thin heels make them so sexy. They are a comfortable height & are snug but not too tight. They are able great value for the money as they look super unaffordable but they are super unforgettable. They are well made; the zipper is sturdy & the rhinestones stay on. These boots are versatile for going to a country music concert, a biker bar or even a Katt Williams show. Everyone loves these boots!

So let's start by acknowledging that these cowgirl boots were made to quality, no lie. However, they do run a bit snug across the foot, [the area before the toes; refer to pic]. And they fit snug as to being able to wear thin socks with them if you are truly true to size. And if you have WIDE FEET, I suggest a whole size bigger. I have no complaints regarding the make, style, or quality of these show stoppers, with the exception that the heel for me could be a bit taller; (personal preference of course). My only serious complaint is the shoe box. Why squeeze my knee-high, well constructed, blingy cowgirl boots into a standard sized shoe box?? They cost enough for you to have invested in a lengthier box for my boots to lay out and breathe. But I'm in love with them nonetheless. EDIT [after wearing]:: I stand by my snug fit comments however, I must say they are a comfortable snug, and I wore them wih thin ankle socks. I wore them to a baby shower given at a park recreation room, and did a lot of walking through the park (to break them in), and I must admit I didn't feel the need to wear any flats throughout use. Buy your real size.
