Well first of all I do like the keyboard being portable. I love the magnetic keyboard that is easily taken off to use like a regular kindle turning it any way I want.Now for the bad part ..It took almost 2 full months to receive this and they kept trying to give me a black or brown. If that was the color I wanted I would have ordered it!!! They would contact me via email 2 days before the estimated arrival and tell me this and then the time would be extended. Also it does not sleep/wake when opening and closing. I am afraid to send it back because then it might be another 2 months. And their customer service contact was very crappy.This was ordered thru Amazon but it came from another company.But like I said I do like the keyboard part..

Very nice keyboard/Kindle case. I have just two complaints: there is no loop to tuck a stylus into (and a stylus is sold with it!) and the plugs for the Kindle and the keyboard are on opposite sides of the case, so, if you're like me and leave it plugged in when at home, there are cords coming out of both sides of the unit. Not an earth-shaking complaint but sometimes it IS annoying. Other than that I'm happy with the look and functionality of the case. What happens when I gunk up the keyboard, though? Can I replace JUST the keyboard? I dunno.

This case is pretty much as it is described. I am only giving 3 stars because I find it a pain to have to separately charge the keyboard from the kindle, Also the flap does not like to stay closed. I am also spoiled by the case on my other Kindle Fire, as it shuts the kindle down when you close it and wakes when you open. This case does not do that, you have to hit the power button to sleep and wake your Kindle. While it is a good case, I do wish I had chosen another, since its so much extra to charge the keyboard I find I never use it.

Finally a keyboard that I really love using. It only took a couple tries for my fingers to get used to the small keyboard. If you own a laptop you should settle in quite quickly like I did.I love the fact that I can remove the keyboard and be up to five feet away, I tested this and yes, the keyboard worked beautifully.Also another cool feature is the keyboard can be charged with your Kindle Fire HDX cord, I just keep alternating between them to make sure they are charged.The weight I thought would be an issue, but in reality the KFire HDX is better protected and I don't notice much added weight. The fact that I can use the camera now much easier is a blessing as well. Before I had to slide the KF-HDX up with the case I bought with the purchase of my KFHDX.The color is a nice purple/plum, which isn't to dark that I can't find it.I would recommend this to a friend!

The keyboard paired easily with my kindle fire HDX, but I could never get the auto-sleep/wake to work for me. I even talked to Amazon Support, but we couldn't get it to work. My case may have been defective since other reviewers reported it worked. Since the auto-sleep/wake feature was important to me, I returned the case. I opted not to get a replacement because the keyboard case is very thick.I did end up getting the Amazon origami case because it is thin and auto-sleep/wake works, but it is very heavy.Dear Manufacturers, My dream case would be a thin keyboard case like you can get with the Surface. Light-weight. Supporting auto-sleep/wake.

I like the color of the case however, it does not fit the kindle very well. When the Kindle is in the case, there is a gap on the side. Also, the holes do not line up with the Kindle so it turns off and I had to place something behind the Kindle to keep it on. I should have returned this product, but I do like the keyboard part to it.

I love this Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 case by Poetic. It has a nice padded cover, which looks and feels like more expensive cases. The keyboard features raised keys that are well positioned. The keyboard has a handsome look and the keys are soft and responsive. Operating with Bluetooth, you can use your Kindle charger to charge. No extra cord needed. The on/off button extends the generous battery life. My favorite feature is the removable, magnetic keyboard. When I want to read or watch videos only, the keyboard detached making the thin case smaller. The only complaint it slight wearing along corners after a year of several hours a day use and frequent carrying in my purse. For the price, I would buy this case again. Similar cases in the $99 price range do not have a removable keyboard.

I am very disappointed with the purchase of the Keybook. I ordered it at the same time I ordered my Kindle, I did not notice that it would not fit my particular model of Kindle so I cannot use it. I was also not able to return it as the packaging said could not return if opened. My loss.

Bought these for my daughters, Exactly what I wanted, good quality for the cost, happy they got delivered before xmas especially when they didn't think they would thank you, definitely recommend, this is one very, very happy customer
