adorable way to mark foods at a party. nice quality. They do have a small writing area and I find it hard to write small with chalk, so I stuck black paper on the little square and wrote with white pen. Looked Great!!

Very cute product, and a great price! I used these just this weekend for my son's 5th birthday party. Some of the bottoms don't fit that well, but I made it work.

I ordered these to to mark the cake types on my dessert table at my wedding and they worked great. I used chalk marker to write on them. 2 things that you might want to be aware of before you buy-1. I used a chalk marker to write on them and that did not wash off.2. I had to take the end of a pair of scissors to make the hole on the base bigger so the stick would fit in it. Not hard at all, just an extra step.Overall, a good price and they look pretty cute.

Worked perfectly for a bridal shower. Easy to write on but writing cannot he changed. We used liquid chalk markers.

These look okay, but as some other reviewers stated, it is plain paint on porous wood, and using a chalkboard marker the liquid sinks in and bleeds a bit. Also, I almost didn't think the posts would fit into the stands, it takes a lot of work to get them in, and not confident they are sturdy.

I bought these for my mom. We usually make dozen's of different dessert bites for the different holidays and are always looking for a way to mark what they are without needing to stand by them and tell people. With these stand alone little markers we will be able to simple write down what they are, ingredients, make a note for allergies. I'm excited for the possibilities. I think they can also be used for a wine and cheese night or for seat assignments. I have not tested how easy they are to wipe off and clean but they seemed to be regular chalk board material. The stands do not come with chalk and were delivered very shortly after I placed the order with amazon prime.

Used these for baby's First Birthday Party. Super Cute! I did use Chalk Marker. Regular chalk did not go on super clear. It looked awesome when I used a chalk marker.

These are very small chalk boards and they have regular paint on them - not chalkboard paint - which means they are one time use. If you try using any liquid to erase the chalk the paint smudges so there isn't the nice barrier in natural wood anymore. They looked cute for one time use which is why they are getting 2 stars instead of 1
