Best sea salt in USA

This is good quality salt, overpriced for the small amount that you get because the bag size is way smaller than I expected and a little goes a long way. I find grinding it and sprinkling a little after cooking works best.

I know it's sea salt from Hawaii. I expected to pay for shipping. But 6-oz weight is less than 8-oz cup. Would love to cook with, but based on price - it's a finishing salt for me. Saw on a Guy F - FoodNetwork show, that's what got me to pull the trigger. May buy again based on flavor, not on price. 5 stars if they could come down a little in $.

While in Hawaii I visited the place where the salt is harvested by hand from deep in the ocean. This salt is real. Not like most other "Hawaiian" salt that is harvested elsewhere in the world and packaged in Hawaii and called Hawaiian salt. Very interesting, recommend a tour if you're in Kona. I brought a small bottle of the salt home with me. We liked it so much I ordered more. It is a great finishing salt for the table. I use regular salt for cooking.
