I bought this so I could have a drone I can fly around the house during weather. I love the led lights on this one is another reason I bought it. I like how bright the led lights are when I fly it in and out of the house, the only thing I noticed it does not fly well in the wind since it’s so small. A least the drone held up when I hit the neighbors fence by accident. Other then that, I enjoyed taking this drone with me while I was traveling for thanksgiving.

This was a birthday gift for my daughter. My other kids have similar drones, different brands. Saw this one, looked neat. Our kids know how to handle and fly drones. This one seemed fine for the first flight, but that was the last time it functioned correctly. No damage, no crash, no water or anything, but the next flight the drone launches straight up to the ceiling, and if we try to reduce power, it just cuts all power and falls.I contact their customer support, and they respond pretty quick, but even after I explain everything, and that we are experienced drone pilots... I get get the basic BS of, "you must be new, do these simple things to try to fix it." Lady, we've done all that. Then she wants a video of what happens. So I make a clear video of my hands on controls, and how the single launch button causes the drone to full accelerate up to the ceiling, and how a simple tap of the throttle down, cuts the power. Her response, "Don't hold the throttle down." Lady, I clearly didn't hold the throttle down... this thing doesn't fly like a normal drone. Her response, "go fly it in an open area. take a video." So we do, and lo and behold, same issue, except now it goes up and careens to one side until flips over and crashes. We then also take a video of one of our other mini drones, showing how it flies just fine. Her response.... nothing.

Let me start by saying my 6-7 yr old nephew has asked repeatedly for a drone for weeks. I was excited to find this one for the price and in his favorite color Green! Appeared to be a beginner drone due to the price and colors. I charged it prior to wrapping so it would be ready to fly. Unfortunately it was not as user friendly as I had hoped and he was too young to operate it on his own. Long story short, the drone lights up and really flies… sadly his first voyage was over the roof of the house and no where to be found! We spent 2 hrs searching for it and finally decided to wait until it was dark enough to hopefully see the green lights! We found it… in the very top of the tallest tree in yard! Now we must wait for the wind to blow it out. Poor guy’s excitement was short lived. Let me finish by saying this drone works great and we’re shocked how high and fast it flew. The battery initially charged fairly quickly and the battery life must be pretty good since the lights stayed on about 4 hours. # 1 suggestion, make sure you read the fine print that says for age 14 and up. Would not recommend for anyone under 10-12 unless they have a lot of gaming experience. Back to search for something more age appropriate and redeem my self as the good aunt!

We bought two of these as a Christmas gift and opened them upon arrival to charge them so they would be ready Christmas morning. Within seconds of plugging in the first battery to a standard 5 volt .5 amp USB charger the USB plug caught fire and filled our house with the smell of burnt plastic and harsh black smoke in our bedroom. Thankfully we were able to immediately unplug the charger and blow out the flame before it got out of control, but this could have easily burned our house to the ground had it been left unattended for more than a minute. Amazon issued an immediate refund, the product should be recalled for safety concerns.

The drone controller's left joystick will not snap back to the original position. This isn't a deal breaker, but it is a significant inconvenience. Maybe some light wiping with WD40 will loosen it up? Also, the drone light ring is slightly warped. Again, not a deal breaker. It still is a great drone for the price. And, I like the case and replacement propellers that came with it. (The on/off switch is a tiny little switch on the side of the drone. It took me a minute to find it as I was originally looking for a button.)
