The Player

I absolutely adore Easton and Scout's story so far. K. Bromberg has written another swoon worthy hero but without all the relationship dramatics that sometimes get thrown into a storyline and aren't always necessary. These two actually communicate like grown ups and I'm so for that! A healthy relationship in a book is just as addictive to me as a problematic one and the majority if the time it's more enjoyable. They definitely have their moments but they sort it like adults. It's nice to see the hero for once being the one who wants to sit down and lay things on the table instead of the heroine. The role reversal is refreshing.That doesn't mean it's all rainbows and glitter because in the background they both have trouble with family and unfortunately Scout seems to have the worst end of the stick. I can feel the heartbreak that's about to come about in book 2 and I don't actually know if I'm ready to face that. Even though The Player seems to be a very quick sports romance the scenes are still intense when they need to hit the mark. The last few chapters alone were so short that they really created the build up for the final sentence.If you want a baseball romance with a work romance/friends to lovers and a quick read then this is for you. Plus there's abs on the cover so...

There is no doubt that Author K Bromberg was born to Write! First was her fantastic Driven Series books and now this one ""The Player". Once you read the best dedication page ever you get a hot sexy emotionally captivating sports romance that delivers a powerful & complex journey of two adults that are each so focused on making their parent proud and gaining their acceptance all at the expense of their own happines and just as everything is starting to come together for Easton & Scout and you turn to the next page....Bang! you get the Best Cliffhanger Ever!

What a great story! Me being a baseball fan already, it pulled me in from page one and held me captive until the very end. And boy what an ending!!! This story was full of humor, sexiness, drama, romance, kindness, and some action.I admired Scout's strength, determination, humor, and compassion. She had endured much in her young age and my heart broke for her telling her history and present.Easton is just all around smexy! He was witty, charming, loving, caring, kind, protective, and possessive.I can't wait for book 2 to be released!

Okay so WOW, just WOW! K Bromberg has yanked my chain once again with a baseball player yeah not a car racer a damn baseball player!!!????!!!! Let's just say K Bromberg has a talent with her characters and stories that draw you in and damn if they let you go.... what I mean is even though she leaves you with a cliffhanger your like WTF still wanting more!

I loved her Driven series And fell in love with baking and cupcakes in sweet cheeks. She blows be away with every book !! Now I love baseball players. Lol.Easton is absolutely fabulous!! But that ending made me want to scream bloody hell!! I can't wait till the next book so I can't see what happens!!Great job yet again. You never disappoint!!
