Decent tool for basic use
These are decent tools. I like how they came with an extra set of the plastic pieces. Good value for money but I seem to go though a lot of these. So there may be better products out there, but these definitely get the job done.

Works well, glad it comes with second set of nylon replacements
I have gotten into wire work (real gemstones, custom designs, and wrapping my polymer clay pieces). I have dead soft wire from Rio Grande including copper, argentium silver, rose gold, 14k gold, and jewelers brass (and in square, half round, and round). These work pretty well for straightening and very well for handling it without marring the surface.

Too sturdy and doesn't open far
They're stiff hard to work with hard to hold they don't open far enough they just suck really but I don't have the patience with the time to wait for another pair so I'm praying to God that these ones loosen up a little bit, though I know there's no way to open up any further because this is how they're built! Buy something else!
