Great reference guide to reptiles and amphibians of a little known area. Highly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the fauna of this region.

The strengths of this book are in the detailed accounts of the amphibians, lizards and snakes from a region with high endemism. The authors do a wonderful job of orienting the reader to the geography/ecology of the region, the challenges and rewards of fieldwork, and conservation issues. High quality photographs of the animals and the environs too.
