VViViDDark Grey Brushed Titanium Metal 5ft x 1ft Vinyl Wrap Roll with Air Release Technology

I bought this to cover a polished aluminum insert on the back of the front seats of a 1964 Thunderbird that I'm restoring. The original inserts were badly scratched and could not be re-polished. Very hard to find a replacement in any better shape. I cut the vinyl to the correct shape and literally stuck it on. My first attempt was off a bit so I removed it with no problem and tried again. Got it the 2nd time and with no bubbles. Color was a little darker than I expected, but looks great.

If you are not a wrapping expert,do not buy.

Nothing like waiting two weeks for your vinyl to come and opening it up to see that the metal grain runs in the Wrong Direction!! Anyone with eyes can see how ridiculous this stuff is and yet they still sell it. Just look at my pic... it’s LAUGHABLE!

I've used other vvivid vinyl wrap the only difference I've noticed is the adhesive is not as sticky as the others. And also this vinyl REQUIRES HEAT FROM A HEAT GUN. I used a hair dryer on high since my heat gun was in the garage. Hair dryer on high wasnt sufficient, this is a thicker vinyl. Also it is textured. Like another user pointed out. DEPENDING on where this is going, if the light isn't reflecting off it, it will look like its just dark gray in color. Its funky, you can look at the vinyl either vertical or horizontal and it'll be dark or light. I am not a professional, just be sure you know how to use vinyl wrap, use a heat gun, I used a scalpel to cut.P.S --IF WHAT YOU WANT TO WRAP IS MORE THAN 1FT AND YOU WANT THE LIGHTER SHADED TEXTURE. You need more than 1ft size

Must be knock off or old vinyl. Immediately rips and even adding a bit of heat don’t help. Not impressed like other vinyls used in past before from other brands
