KINGMB8100 Mounting Plate for Jack OA82 Series Antennas

Didn't use it, ordered the wrong one, needed md8200. My fault, didn't research it enough. The part Zi bought was super & came FAST!

Worked perfect to cover the old screw holes from the old bat wing. Using this we didn't have to worry about filling all the 8 or 10 little holes left behind. We just mounted the antenna to the plate, put the antenna through the existing hole on the roof, squared the plate up to the side roof line, which aligned the perfectly in the hole, then we screwed the plate down and used Dicor to seal it. Make sure to drill a hole for the coax cable and to pre-drill the screw holes in the plate, it makes the install a lot easier.

Easy to install and great fit

worked great with my Lance 845 cabover camper analog to digital transfer. The old antenna was on it's last leg with all the raising and lowering over the years and I hated that anyway. Pretty easy install(follow instructions exactly). Use a really good sealer.

The tag on the plastic envelope containing the plate states stainless steel nuts and bolts are included to mount plate to antenna. No nuts and screws were included. UTUBE demonstrators and product reviewers have stated plate came with mounting hardware. I want seller to send me mounting hardware or I will return for refund and purchase elsewhere. If I receive mounting hardware in a timely fashion I will change from two stars to five and upgrade Easy to Install from one star to five.

If you are retrofitting the King Antenna on a motorhome, this mounting plate makes sense.The original system had the coax coming through the roof about a foot away from the old antenna. This mounting plate covered that hole, and provided a good base to mount the King Antenna to. Highly recommended.

The only problem I had with installing the base was the spacing of the holes already in the roof of my Winnebago Brave. When replacing the existing antenna I had to modify the mounting plate to accommodate the coaxial cable from the antenna to the signal director inside the coach. The second hole for the coax made it a little difficult to place and seal the base plate. After trimming the base plate I was able to secure it to the roof with screws and sealant. No leaks so far.

Worked great for installing the King Jack antenna on our 5th wheel with self leveling caulking to make sure everything is sealed off from water entry.

this part covers the roof to hide the holes done from previous winegardit should be included in antenna kitcant really fix the antenna to the roof without it
