This small sized beautiful heavy weight cast iron tea kettle is wonderful! Looks great sitting on the stovetop, or on the table with a hot pad underneath. Heats enough water for a couple cups of tea - just what I needed. One thing to note is this heats water VERY QUICKLY! Keep an eye on it - don't walk away - because the water will heat in no time at all. The inner mesh basket is easy to rinse clean and holds a generous amount of loose leaf tea. I've been heating the water first, then adding tea to the basket to let it steep. Basket is removable to use the tea kettle without it. I do wipe this dry after it's cooled, to keep the cast iron clean. This would make a beautiful gift. Definitely recommend!

great little teapot. We use it for the good stuff. We had a few expensive ceramics but they all broke over time. While this is attractive, it seems quite durable. It also seems to keep tea warmer for longer.

So this was smaller than I thought, but it also comes with a tea strainer, so it's perfect for 2-3 hearty cups of tea, no complaints. It's cast iron so this will last hopefully until I die, and I'm still pretty young. It's attractive with any kitchen decor with it's intricate design, and it heats up fairly quickly. Only 2 design flaws that yield it 4, instead of 5, stars: 1) the handle gets VERY hot by the time the water boils so a pot holder is NECESSARY. 2) it's so short that water will boil out of the spout onto the burner (with gas, this causes increased flame) when it's ready to pour. So would I buy it again? I don't have to, this will last. But I definitely would consider these two things if you're thinking about purchasing. I won't be returning it, it's sturdy. It's just a little flawed.

The look and design are wonderful. Very easy to use. The pot holds heat for a very long time. Wonderful.

You can’t fill the water all the way or it aggressively pours out of the spout when it boils. The handle also gets hot and requires a pot holder to pour. I’ll keep it but wouldn’t buy if I knew this prior.

This pot is beautiful and just the right size to brew 4 to 6 cups of tea. It gets hot enough on my Duxtop induction burner to hold heat well. Duxtop recommends a minimum pan bottom size of 5 inches, but the bottom of this pot is only 3 1/4". Despite that, it works well directly on the top, or with a cocktail napkin under it to prevent scratching. But it doesn't work well with the Lazy K silicone protective mat, so just use a paper towel or napkin to prevent scratches.

Me encanta, vale su precio es de un material muy resistente y el diseño super padre! Desafortunadamente después de 5 meses de uso, el recubrimiento interno se empezó a desprender y ya no me sentí seguro de seguir bebiendo esa agua.
