Wisdompro RFID Key FOB Protector for Car Key Signal Blocking, WP4697 Faraday Bag for Anti-Hacking, Anti-Theft Pouch

I had seen this brand on a YouTube video about an owner who had his tuck stolen by thieves who cloned his key fob while it was hanging in his house. Apparently, thieves can recover the fob's code and frequency from up to about 300 feet away. They simply drove by his home, clones the fob and drove his vehicle away. It was subsequently found by police in a shipping container about to be loaded onto a ship. He recommended this brand as both effective at shielding the fob's signals. I tried this out upon receipt by placing my fob into the pouch (be sure to use the correct pocket!) and walked up to the truck and tried opening the door. The pouch shielded the fob so that I couldn't open my doors standing right next to the truck. I next, removed the fob from the pouch which then allowed me to open the door and enter the vehicle. Placing the fob back into the pouch sitting in the driver's seat, I tried to start the truck. The truck warned me that "No key present" and wouldn't start. I again removed the fob and was able to easily start the truck. The pouch worked perfectly for my purpose. The pouch is well made and seals effectively using Velcro on the flap that folds over the Faraday material preventing the leakage of RF. Material seems sturdy, seams are well sewn. I'm recommending if you're worried about fob cloning and plan on buying more for our other keys.

I wasn’t sure if the key fob protector would work or not and was pleasantly surprised how well they do. Having my fob inside the protector, my car did not sense it all. The case is small enough to fit a credit card or 2 and a key fob.

Doesn't work some times. It must be all the way to the bottom of the bag, work best.

Your car key fob sends out a signal (with a unique code associated with your car) about once a second. Organized car thieves have devices that can detect fob signals from about 300 feet away. Once they get the code they can program their blank key fob with YOUR car's code and then come back and steal the car in the dead of night! I tested it with my car by placing my fob inside the "Faraday pouch" section (there are two compartments) and I couldn't unlock/lock my car doors or start my car. Once removed from the pouch everything worked fine! I won't leave home without it.

I put my RAM pickup Key Fob in the faraday bag and the fob worked just as well in the bag as it did outside the bag. I took a video of using the key fob by itself to unlock the doors by touching the door handle, then I did it with the fob in the bag and the locks still worked just as well as it did outside the bag. I then pressed the push button starter and the pickup started right up. There may be false advertising in this one. The idea sounded great but it didn't work.

This item is not Sold by WisdomPro themselves so the item I was missing the logo and I was suppose to get 2, but only 1 showed up.

It really works well. I placed my key in the bag and tried unlocking the car and the signal is blocked.

Good quality RFID pouches for car keys. I also ordered the larger version pouch for passports and credit cards when travelling.

These work exactly as you would expect. The only "trick" is to make sure you put the key fob in the back pocket. Tested them two ways; 1) with the key fob in the bag and even touching it right by the door it wouldn't unlock, and 2) once in the car I put the key back in the bag and couldn't start the vehicle.The material is nice and feels solid. The velcro and flap close and hold well. Overall, the bag is a nice size and comfortably in a jacket pocket.

The pouch is big enough to hold the key, house key, car keyring and my own small keyring. The little metal d-ring means I can hang it on our key hook.
