I started hunting 5 years ago with no prior experience. What to do with the animal once it was down was my biggest concern. These videos were just the ticket, and are worth every penny. The first year I harvested a mule deer and thanks to these videos I was able to field dress, and later completely process the deer into steaks, sausage, jerkey etc.I still review these videos each year and my buddy and I set up the PC in front of our processing station in the garage (if we're lucky enough to have harvested a deer or elk) and Brad walks us through slicing and dicing each quarter into the appropriate cuts which we then seal up in a vacuum bag.If you watch these videos enough times you will learn that steak salad is great, and to always be careful not to let your meat flop on the ground. :-)They of course push outdoor edge products in these videos, but that's OK. They are generally very good. The rib spreader they use in these videos.... very much worth the fifteen bucks or so.(Though Outdoor Edge.... you might consider re-filming them in HD Video. ;-) )So far ... 4 mule deer and one Elk. The DVD is great. Yes, they do sell you the Outdoor edge brand. But the butchering process is thorough and I appreciated it a lot. I used this butchering my first deer and it made it a breeze. The info in the jerky and sausage dvds didn't have the depth of info the butchering did and I was kind of disappointed on that front as those are the two biggest things I do with my game meat and hoped for more insight. You might give the 4 dvd set a pass if you aren't going to focus on those when processing. But a good dvd for beginners. My biggest gripe is with the DVD case. Upon opening it the FIRST time, the case shattered. There were no stickers that normally hold new cases closed (the annoying security tape). It simply broke open with little to no force on my part opening it. The extra dvds were held in with plastic inserts, the bottom of which broke off as well.

The DVDs are great, but this is what I got. It’s the same videos but a different cover, so I accidentally bought two of the same set of disks.

The info. in the set is great and put in to terms that everyone can use. The only downfalls that I found with the set is the amount of promos for their knives and I wish that they would have went a little in depth into the aging of the meat, but all in all it is a very informative set . I've been hunting for years and I have still learned a lot form them.

I purchased this after reading reviews online for hours. I was not disappointed. First, delivery time was very fast. Though I haven't watched all the DVDs yet, they are well thought out and organized in such a manner that allows a novice like myself to understand and follow easily. I can't wait to try out what I have learned. If you are tired of paying a processor get this and start watching.

Even though I been hunting for over 35 years and processing my own deer I found the video to be very helpful. Ready to start the new season off and try the new techniques.

I am new to hunting and these videos are easy to understand and follow. After watching the videos, I am more confident in processing my game safely. Lots of great tips and money well spent!
