gets dirty easy. when the frost or coating wears it is clear. unlike some which are white mylar with a cover. plus gave a high pitch tang, twang, that my banjo didnt have.

Best out there!
I have used several makes of banjo heads and keep going back to the Remo. I like the limited stretch as a high collar eventually bottoms out on my Gibson's neck, the medium is just right. The price is right as I change every six months or so and I am not into road rash on a banjo head.
