I am enjoying these lights. I’ve have several different brands but this was my first time ordering this brand. The first thing I noticed was that the copper wire is more substantial than some of the other brands I’ve had. That isn’t a bad thing at all because they don’t get tangled up. Some brands have all three wires separated between each light. When those get tangled just throw them away. It took me literally HOURS to untangle them. So for me this is a huge bonus. The amount of light is about what I would expect on low and on the high setting it really is bright enuff for me to not have to have any other lights turned on. There are 6 settings and no remote. The control is a part of the power cord.Just letting you know that if you are looking for lights with a remote and tons of options, like some have, this is not what you’d want to order. Sometimes a variety of dimming and blinking is nice to have but not a deal breaker for me. I do, however, wish there was a remote. Getting to the switch can be a challenge unless your outlet is super close to where you want the lights. I just leave mine on all the time to remedy that problem.The 1st pic is on the lowest setting and the highest in the second. Not a whole lot of difference in the pics but in real life it’s noticeable.

the ONLY coating on this product is on the end where the dimmer control and power cable is, and a small piece of clear shrink tube on the very end of the product. there does not appear to be any electrical safety devices or components for power regulation within the electronics of it (see photos) aside from the power adapter, which i do not trust to be sufficiently safe on its own. this is basically a giant bare wire with unfettered access to the full force of the power grid, meaning anything it touches will catch fire. there's no safe use for this, i'm not even sure this is legal to sell in the US. im getting a refund and i strongly caution against buying this.

Wire is so fine!!! I SO carefully unwound it, snipping off the tips of cardboard as I worked. I straightened the wire veey slowly and proceeded to wrap a Fall arrangment. I had it plugged in the whole time and then suddenly most of the lights went out!!! A wire had broken!!! These are too fine and too useless for real life... Do not buy!!
