I love the functionality and the pages, although stiff, add to the realism. The binding doesn't look that authentic.

Purchased this for a 5 yo for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! I am unsure about the mechanics but her parents seemed pretty pleased as well!

This item looks very much like a box not a book, because the spine is totally flat unlike a true bound hardcover book. That said it seems well made and the combo locks seems solid and gives a nice heavy click as you turn the numbers. It does NOT have a magnetic closure for the cover to keep it closed over the safe - that would have been a cheap and easy thing to add and it's unfortunate they didn't build that into the design.I got the extra large and it's BIG. I was worried the smaller size wouldn't be able to fit the wad of money I wanted to put in plus some jewelry but I would have been more than fine with the smaller size.The artwork is absolutely beautiful. All in all this will serve its purpose but it could definitely be better than it is.

You’re wondering what this has to do with the casino right? I use it to store my cash and chips I win, as I carry a big purse with me. It’s a self-control thing. I won’t unlock the unit to spend whatever I put in there. The book is bigger than I expected but I have the purse to pull it off.

I bought another style from this company as Christmas gifts. I love the real pages.What could be so much better is the spine. Looks so much like a box. Needs indents like real binding. I turned this one out to hide the obvious box spine on my shelf.It wasn't as noticeable on the darker book.Perfect gift for maybe a college student or teen looking to hide a few things.

The only thing I wish is that it didn't look like a box... This does not look like a book... I can spot it a mile away on my book shelf. I'm hoping no one notices it, but it is super obvious... It does have a decent sized safe inside, & the locking mechanism works perfectly, so... If no one notices it I guess it will do the job...
