To be honest not much of a book reader these days but this one was an easy and enjoyable read. The stories of Shawn Thornton as he made his way into the NHL and onto two Stanley Cup winning teams were interesting to say the least. Hockey fans, especially those of the Boston Bruins should check this one out!

Thank you Shawn for sharing your life story. It’s always the players like you that people are drawn to. As a hockey fan all my life when there is a function the fans are attracted to the tough guys like glue. Just a great read.

I loved Shawn as a player and Dale as a broadcaster and so wanted this book to be good entertainment but found it difficult to follow, bouncing around from his pro career to his development. All in all glad I bought it to get some insights into one of my favorite players. Sorry Shawn, please don't kick my butt!

I bought this for my husband as he's a Bruins fan. Once he started he was hooked and finished it in a couple of days. He said he loved it !!!!

Shawn Thornton is the epitome of resilience and drive. Tell this guy he can’t do something, and get outa the way!Amazing story! Throughly enjoyed this book!
