Careful of mold.
I was excited to get this humidor because of all the cigars I get from people that go to Cuba. however, after following all the instructions to get the humidity the correct percentage seemed like the dial was of. The biggest issue I got is that because of the possible incorrect Gage, my humidor started growing mold on the inside. I wouldn't care so much for the mold, but having hundreds of dollars worth of cigars in the box which now had to be thrown out broke my heart. Wanted to love it, ended up being scared of it because of the mold. Threw the humidor out.

Choppy finish and Humidifier doesn't fit
Shipping was great. Fast and packed nice. I received the humidor today, the finish on the outside is very choppy and is flaking in several areas. The humidifier puck doesn't fit on the side wall due to the lid so I had to mcgiver it to get it to work (put 4 layers of double sided adhesive foam tape to the back and cut around the magnet to make it look neat then used permanent marker to blacken the edges so it looked better) I guess I can't really complain for $50 but I'm a little confused at the current rating this product has, maybe I got a lemon? I don't know. *** UPDATE*** returned the lemon as the glass top was loose and it wasn't holding humidity at all. Got it replaced with another the exact same in no time thanks to Amazon and the new one is great, humidity holding perfect right around 70% after only a couple days and the glass doesn't slide around

Poor craftsmanship on an otherwise good value.
Like a couple others described. Thereβs nothing inherently wrong with the humidor. The quality is average/good for the price. However, a couple clearly poor design / craftmanship issues.1) the humidifier does NOT FIT in the humidor appropriately. If you mount it on the side wall, it is too big and leaves the lid very slightly ajar. Kind of an issue for a humidor. The only appropriate way to place it is on the floor of the humidor (taking up space). A ceiling mount would work, but itβs a glass top, so... no.2) the hygrometer was glued into the humidor crookedly. Aesthetically, this is sloppy. I have yet to get it calibrated and use a digital hygrometer anyway. But, this is poor craftsmanship.Other than that, it appears to be able to do what it needs to do, albeit with slightly less space and quality than advertised.

Beautiful Gift but slightly different colour & ding in the glass display
Very nice. Just note its lighter in colour than the pic with a slight red undertone (it isn't espresso). We really love the drawers for better organization. Can fit approx 150 cigars. The display top is nice. I'm just sad that there is a dent on the inside of the glass display. I cannot find a way to contact the seller about a new piece of glass or anything bc of the ding in the glass. It was packaged well so I know it wasn't from shipping and it is on the inside. This was a gift for my hubby and he is in love with it.

Great value for the money as long as...
You need understand how to properly prepare and use the humidor before and after you load it up with your cigars. Before you do anything, follow the included instructions on how the calibrate the included glass hygrometer to 70% humidity. There's a small screw on the back that is used to assist in this.1. Purchase a bottle of Propylene Glycol For Cigar Humidifiers. Amazon's sells it. Get it. Makes life easier.2. Fill the included round humidifier to capacity, soak up any that spills, then place it in the the humidor. No need to soak the inside of the box.Monitor the hygrometer as the humidity increases. Every few days refill and replace the humidifier. The cedar will absorb the ambient moisture.3. Once the dial reaches 70% place a few cigars at a time into the box. I found that of you fill the box to capacity, the cigars will quickly absorb the available humidity, the dial will drop below 70%, you'll get pissed as you'll be constantly refilling the humidifier and wondering why it's not working.4. Alternate adding more cigars and replenishing the humidifier until the himidor is filled and the reading is a constant 70%.Depending on the climate, it may take a week to properly reach the desired humidity.Be. Patient.
