I had a store bought cheap plastic snow cone maker that almost looked like a kids toy. It worked ok but struggled with having to do "too much" in regards to making multiple snow cones for the kids. With summer coming up - I needed an upgrade and this was it. I am able to dump cup fulls of cubed ice into this crusher and it quickly and easily shaves the ice out onto the bowl that you can scoop from or dump into a cup. Yes - its a little loud but it is doing hard work with minimal effort. I like that this one is heavy with some solid metal parts. It feels durable and high quality. I was able to make snow cones for my kids and two of their friends with no issues. They even wanted seconds. When done - the metal parts just rinsed off under the sink, then a quick towel dry and it was ready to store until next time.

I bought so I could make my hubby’s favorite caramel frappe. It crushed the ice with ease and is perfect for ice drinks! Great value for the money.

I got this because during the summer I usually plan my daycare to have a visit from a local snowcone truck. Because of prices they went up on the cost of a snowcone per kid I thought it was crazy to make a toddler spend $3 a snowcone for 80% to get waisted! So I bought this to make our own snowcones! It works great! I don’t like that you have to use the bowl because putting a cup under to catch doesn’t work as well. And sometimes the ice gets stuck in the shoot. But it’s pretty easy to scoop out. It’s just causes it to be more of a time consuming process, it’s not a quick fill you cup process. But it shaves the ice really nice! I would recommend for a small group or family event!

I ordered this on the day I nearly died from Covid. I was in the the ICU at St. Luke's Hospital where they would not give me anything to eat or drink for several days because I could not keep ANYTHING down. I got the stupid idea to order something drink from Amazon. I ordered an ice maker and some gatorade. While I was doing this, I saw the snowcone machine and flavors. I added both to my order. Of course they arrived at my home and not the hospital, but hey, forgive me for not thinking this through. I was VERY VERY VERY sick. When I got home about a week later, I made some ice with my ice maker and popped it into this machine and pressed down on the handle. Wonderful snowcone ice came out below in the tray. And it is wonderful snowcone ice, just like you pay five bucks for a snowcone for at the beach every summer. I absolutely love it I just keep it on the bar full time so I can have a snowcone whenever I want one. Just wish I had grandkids to spoil now. Oh WELL, I guess I just have to spoil me.If I had to give a complaint I would say the ROUND bowl that catches the snow is a little bit small and some of the snow finds a way around it. I placed mine on a tray so it doesn't make a mess on the bar when the ice melts under the machine. Easy fix for an otherwise wonderful system that costs a LOT less and what other places charge for a "Professional system."

Definitely does what it's supposed to for snow like ice add bigger ice. I also made mixed drinks with this! Definitely great for summer time!

It works well in terms of creating shaved ice, but it is UNBELIEVABLY LOUD. I have never heard any indoor appliance this loud. Three blades are easily accessed, do not leave where children could access it.I have placed over-the-ear hearing protection next to it. I recommend seller include earplugs---seriously.

This is a fantastic mid grade shaved ice machine. Very easy to use, flip the lid and the motor stops running to refill. The switch is covered with clear rubber and it has a heavy duty cord. I use a dish drying mat under the machine for melting ice. Tip machine to drain out any water after cleaning dry. We used torani fruit flavored syrups and I made a few of my own syrup blends too.

Trabaja bien pero es algo incomoda. Estaría mucho mejor si fuera más alta para atrapar el hielo
