This journal was a great gift for expecting parents. My brother is having his first child and is finding all of the checkpoints and information extremely helpful as he and his wife are navigating through this hectic time. Even after three kids, my parents thought these journals were great and wished they had these journals as they had my brothers and me. Having such well-made, thoughtful journals guiding parents through their pregnancy makes one thing a lot easier and less stressful for all parties involved. Here is one great way for parents-to-be to capture all the quirks of pregnancy in a beautiful journal that will look great for years to come.

The book is in a journal form which I know my daughter in law will appreciate. Looking forward to gifting it to her on Mother’s Day since she’s a mommy to be.Very good quality book.

This was a great idea! Who wouldn’t want to write letters to their baby when pregnant. Mom or dad. It is a lovely and sturdy book. Gives lots of room to write and has a nice set up for including pictures or whatever you like.

Though a nice journal, it’s not enough for the price. Mainly blank without really any prompts. Decided to go with something else more like a baby book.

I got this for my sister when I found out she was expecting. This is what she said:I knew I wanted to do a baby scrapbook of some sort, but I hadn’t finished researching options when I got this book. I was a tiny bit apprehensive, since my reason for wanting a scrapbooking kit was to find something that was very “fill in the blanks” so I didn’t have to stretch my imagination thinking of random baby stuff to write (this is my first baby).Flipping through this book, I wasn’t sure if it would have enough structure and would be too much like a journal. But so far (still in the pregnancy stage here), I’ve found it works very well. It gives 6 pages for each trimester, so that works out to be one page for me and one for my husband every month, which has been easy so far. I like the prompts at the beginning of the book, they were very helpful to get started and now I can come up with things on my own.The book is rather elegant looking and very neutral in color. There are a few places to put in pictures, though not as many as I had wanted, it does fit better with their journal angle (rather than a scrapbook). I also really like how it isn’t a “baby’s first 5 years” like many scrapbook kits I looked at - who wants to be filling out a scrapbook for 5 years?! Not this casual scrapbooker, that’s for sure.I don’t know that I’d choose this book for my next child, but I am very happy to have it for my first :)
