the phone work fine for it price
When first look at the phone , I thought it was a kid toy I may say .Suprising , the phone work fine for it price, plus they also come with the screen protector and a clear case at well with also a plus for me . The model it a little compare to the other phone but who care anyway . I don't have to buy additional kit activation for this phone , i used my old T-mobile sim card in . All you have to do it just put the card in and it work , at least for me it work . The process of activate the phone was fairy easy if anyone have frequestly use samsung , you know how to use it . It's work fine , I don't see anything wrong about it at long as you don't complain about the quality of the phone because with $49 this is the best as it can get . If anyone want a more quality phone purchase an iphone or samsung . Best of luck !!!! For anyone who who reading my post, here trick to listening to music while your screen is off ...... Download PVSTARS+ . You don't find it on app store so don't bother to find it . But do check on Amazon App and check it this phone was compatible you can download there other while search on google and download it , but first go to setting---> security --->Unknown Sources after this start download the app . After that to be able to listen to music you need to log in to amazon account. You can skip youtube app with this app so wayyyyy meeee

Great price - enjoying this phone a lot - Hard to Push Button only negative aspect
To begin with: I would give this phone 5 stars but for a few things:1. The button to activate the phone is hard to push. I feel for ladies that have nails.2. When you finish a call and the screen has switched to off you cannot end the call. You have to push the button on the side of the phone.Other than that I love the phone. While its a tad big I like the large dialing pad. I am familiar with Android so I got used to it fairly quickly. Still learning some things but for me the price was right and so is the phone.I went with T-Mobile - a flat rate of $40/mo. unlimited talk/text/data. The data is only 2G for mobile networks. I am unable to use it for Uber reservations. Obviously would not work well for an Uber/Lyft driver either. The plug in ports are easy to find on top of the phone.Final comment: For the design of phones I understand they want to put the On/Off button on the side of the phone AND make it difficult to activate. Suggestion: why not put it on the TOP part of the phone? That way it would be less likely to get pushed when in your pocket.

Great Buy for my pre-teen
I got this phone for my 12 year old daughter whose phone broke and I did not want to pay 200 for a deductible for a new one. I will just list pros and cons to make it easierPros:does not look cheapdecent sizecan get multiple apps as long as u get additional storageCamera is ok for the priceVery stylishCons:Opening it is an hassleHow to insert the sim card gets on my nerves and was confusinglack of directions gives you a headacheoverall for $50.00 the phone is definitely worth it. Now this is for my 12 year old. I would not buy the phone for myself unless I was on an extreme budget and needed something and I am 30. I asked my daughter for the review and she says that she loves it and is happy that I got it. I would definitely recommend buying a case and additional storage.

It takes 30 seconds to open an app. It would be a good burner phone or something to have as a backup.GoodphoneW/ slightly >pwer
It's a decent $40 phone. It takes 30 seconds of wait time to open an app, I would have paid a little more for a stronger processor if that's what's holding it up. Be prepared to feel like you're on dialup. I got the phone because the Nexus 6P I bought around two years ago for about $600 has become completely unusable; it doesn't hold a charge, at half-charge the phone will shut off, the speakers dropped in quality by more than half within the first two months, the usb charging port is too loose to hold in the cable requiring me to using a hair tie, the aux port is likewise too loose to hold in an aux cable without a hair tie. Expensive phones aren't worth the price when you break down the cost by the longevity of the phone. I do most of everything computer wise on my tower/ home pc. I built an awesome system for a little over $2k including monitor, mouse, keyboard, &speakers. From my experience a tower computer has about a 10 year life-span before it starts having problems. A middle ranged GPU & CPU won't be outdated even for gaming within that decade, but if you want to upgrade you're looking at another $1K within the lifespan of the computer. Still at the end of the decade half of the value of the computer will remain reusable; the case, hardrives, power supply, adapters, & so one. It's a waste of money in contrast to be spending a thousand dollars a year on a piece of shit smartphone that can't do 10% of what a tower can do. I think a phone should cost no more than $120 per annum. I would have paid more for a better quality phone but this companies other phones are locked. If I were you I'd look for a Motorola that's unlocked. They sell them at their website. This one's quality is too low. If you need a burner phone you plan to use for talk and text mostly this is good for that.

Great for the price
So far it's great. I was skeptical buying a smart phone for under $50, compared to my $650 personal phone. This one, I purchased for my mother who is in her late 70's.It's overwhelming for her to grasp the features of a smart phone, so in the past, I had purchased two other "senior friendly" phones which were so simple that they were complicated for me to set up. They both broke down so I didn't want to buy either of them again. She also requested for her next phone to have a camera, that's why I got this one.I put in the SIM card and it was ready to go. It did ask me for an email address to help in the google set up. I created one for my mom, which she will never use or the internet on this phone. It took a 3 days for her to learn how to make a call and answer the phone. Once she masters calls, we will teach her how to take pictures. That will be the extent of her use.The screen looks nice, the size is perfect, though mom complains that it's big. I like the two SIM card slots because I'm hoping my mother can use it when she travels to South America.

It's good phone, BLU!
It's good phone from BLU, Studio X8 HD for the deal, It's a bit big for me 5" LCD as a phone. It takes standard SIM card which it doesn't say, it works with my Fido SIM card right out of the box,But it's too small for internet, I use my laptop for internet, there is no problem with internet, no games on internet, no download app.The battery is good 2000 mAh but shut off all the apps or internet when not using them so this saves the battery energy, so it's last longer.Amazon.ca lists this as used (open box) no missing items, about less than $60, just few dollars off from new.I'll buy BLU phone again cause I don't want spend $300-$600 for brand name, it's just a phone so what is the point.I hope this may help some one out there. Here is after using for weeks: I can use voice control ask for weather forecast just about any where in the world, internet search and texting (no more typing) etc... This thing understands me! I love it. There is no build in GPS.This battery is good for stand by 5 days or more without charge but when using it like: internet or text etc... the battery level drops quickly.

Great Phone For Price!
This phone came fast. I had low expections for such a cheap phone but it kinda suprised me at how good it was. The screen is only 720p but it is still very sharp and the colors are are spot on. The phone is pretty fast. The camera sucks though but that's okay if your not planning on taking any pictures with it. The phone only comes with 4gb of storage but is upgradable to 64gbs. It has 512mb of ram which is perfect if your only using it for light activites. Over all this is a great phone for somebody on a budget.

2G non LTE Network
Phone seems descent enough, but is not really compatible in Canada. This runs on a 2g non-lte network. Canada has been phasing this out and you can't buy a new sim card for a non lte 2-g network from any providers. Too bad this was to be for on of my kids.

Blu Phone May Not Work With Public Mobile
This Blu phone is supposed to be compatible with Public Mobileโs network, the Sim card however will not work in it. I tested the Sim card in another Blu phone and it works fine. I tried a 2nd SIM card and it failed too. So now I have s phone that wonโt connect to my carrier.
