The mouthpiece feels a bit weird for anyone who is used to wearing a classic one but you will adapt quickly. It allows for ease of breathing when you really hammer hard on the weights. It came with a hard case with vents which is really handy. Overall, I like the product.The reasons why I did not give it 5 stars is that the instructions for molding it are very specific but after already molding my mouthpiece, I stumbled across a video about the product with Eddie Hall trying it out. They did his forming a bit different by having him press on his cheeks while biting down to better form it to his teeth. I think that may have helped with the molding process. The 2nd reason is that my mouthpiece seems to have small particles coming off of it. The cause could be me or how the mouthpiece was created. Either way, it is a minor complaint.

Had it for about 3 weeks and I have noticed increments in my work outs.

but these do pull your chin in and make me look super ugly.

This mouthpiece makes me WAY more comfortable in my lifts at the gym. I literally don't go to the gym without it. Everytime I slide it over my teeth I feel like I'm going to crush it no matter what I'm working out to that day. Can't wait to break this one in man it's going down.

I am trying to adjust to it but it is weird. I am a powerlifter. I bought it based on reviews and use by leading strongmen. I do think it helps when I am under load.I don't think I molded it correctly. It is pretty thick and a little funky for the fit. But it does force me to relax my mouth and face which helps for sure. It is hard to take in a large breath when setting up for a lift b/c I feel it is going to slide back which is yielding a gag reflex.Mine did come with a case.The item is nice but I think it is going to take more getting used to. I plan to continue to use it.

The instructions were easy to understand and the fit was perfect. I have a small mouth and many pieces do not fit because they do not form correctly, but this one does! I love it when working out, it makes my balance better and overall workout better. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in bettering performance, breathing, and balance during a workout! It also comes with a case and clip for easy storing.

It looks like a quality item. It is way smaller than the pic shows(to me). I did the 35 second fitting , it's a horrible feeling, so after 4 fittings I'm gonna just use it for backup , I bought a different one .

I got this mouthpiece because I clench my jaw muscles very hard when tackling heavy deadlifts, overhead presses and squats, it can actually get quite painful and crampy I also have top and bottom implants/overdentures and I really didn't want an expensive bill if these got cracked because compared to natural teeth you are not quite aware of your enormous bite force!I'm female and have a rather small mouth and it's a shame that these are not made in a smaller size but it did shrink slightly when I did the boil and bite. It does feel reassuring and breathing with it in is fine.

Went into my first set with the mouthpiece in with no real expectations but I can say it really does work. Immediately got a few extra reps than I managed to get last workout and I don't believe it was due to any other variables apart from the 5DS mouthpiece. In my opinion, it's worth it. Also helps protect your teeth which is an added bonus ofc.

I used to use a normal gumshield for weight lifting, I sometimes found I gagged or had trouble breathing. This is pretty good, allows lot of room to breath and protects the teeth. It fits to the lower teeth so does not move around.I don't buy all the claims of adding to your lifts, balance etc.. but is worth it for protecting your teeth.

Product is good and works effectively.. the bag was crushed on delivery but I was desperate for a the guard so kept it!

This is a game changer, use it for Strongman training & competition! You can bite down & grind out that bit extra with still being able to breath properly! Highly recommended! Have since bought another to alternate!
