A nice light duty glove when it’s nippy
Well, I used these today while unloading a UHaul truck in the snow. The challenge with Mpact gloves is that while they are great for heavier work, I’d it’s cold and wet your fingers are going to be numb under 30 really fast. These gloves are warmer, but not as durable, and not waterproof. I’ll continue to use them when it’s cold, but won’t expect hard use or wet and cold.I have some older Fly Low leather gloves soaked in Obenaufs for cold and wet…but this is a $50-$90 answer to the problem

Not very warm and not water resistant
Do not get these wet - They soak right through like a paper towel. If they are dry then they are good gloves for maybe a cold fall day - above 32f - 50f. Below freezing though and they are not warm enough. Once they get wet - forget it.

Nice gloves
I really like these gloves, But they don't cut the wind out like I had hoped.

Great work gloves but not in cold weather.
Ok mechanix makes a great glove hands down. However these gloves are supposed to be cold weather gloves and they're not. If I had to guess I'd say late fall or really early spring. I work outside for a living and my fingers froze after about 10 minutes. If your looking for winter gloves look elsewhere.

Thumbs are too long
The fit on these is loose compared to normal ones. Thumbs are too long. Basically unusable if needed for fine dexterity mechanic work. They are warmer than the normal ones!

Great Gloves!
Very nice gloves very comfortable somewhat warm to around 30 degrees, I gave them 2 for water resistance because they're not made for that.

Nice and warm, if slightly baggy.
I’ve tried the original insulated version before and my hands were still cold. Theses are a different story. On a mildly cold day I had to take them off as my hands were so warm. Very pleased with the level of warmth theses provide. They are however, a tad baggy, but this does give room for a liner glove which would make these even warmer on extremely cold days. Usual mechanix quality you’d expect from them. Definitely recommend these but bare in mine the size, perhaps going down a size might alleviate the bagginess.

Good gloves
Good sturdy gloves.I am a wheelchair user and these gloves get a bit of abuse but stand up to it well

Not durable
I purchased these insulated gloves last year and used them quite frequently for a couple of months. However, the material on the fingers started to separate with normal use quite early. I’m now writing this review in March of the following year and simply chose to buy a different pair of insulated gloves rather that deal with the loose material and ingress of cold. In short, not a great buy and did not last as well as expected for a glove at this price point. Fail in my books.

Mechanix quality, but not built for tough winters
Excellent build quality, touchscreen response and overall work dexterity.first drawback:While it says "coldwork" you will have frozen fingers just after 5 min of de-icing your car in -15°c weather.second drawback:soaks up snow and water quickly. if you shovel snow for a couple minutes, go inside to warm up and go back outside your gloves will be soaking wet on the inside.poor insulating quantity and poor waterproofing are a major drawback for any "real" cold work.
