It's a good price and a high-quality rod. Grate for boat fishing. It's handle tautog amazing. And super lightweight! I love it!!!!!!

Doesn't catch more fish but quality is good. Wish the reel tightening nut was more robust

Great rod for hooking snakeheads. Med-heavy has a noticeable difference when setting the hook.

Excellent flounder/fluke rod I use the heavy power version when fishing on party/charter boats in deeper water. The medium heavy power version is great for fishing closer to shore in shallow water. The heavy power version can easily work up to a 3oz bucktail I don't go heavier that 3oz. The medium power model I usually use a 1 ounce bucktail. I mine paired with a Abu Garcia c3 with a upgraded power handle it is a great combo. I know some guys that use this rod for blackfishing as well but I haven't tried it.
