"Miami" Braided Elastic Belt Made in USA by Thomas Bates

I was much impressed with the "Miami" Elastic Braided Belt when I received it and still am impressed several weeks later after wearing the belt most every day. The craftsmanship is the best (made in the USA) and so was the price. It is just a very good looking belt.My only caution is to make sure you get the right size. I originally ordered a Medium and had to send it back for size Large. I wear pants with a 34" waist. Returning the belt was easy though, and Amazon refunded all my original money for the first purchase, so I didn't lose anything on the trade.

Hands down is the best belt I've ever used. Compared to other belts that are very constrictive and in some cases just aren't that durable compared this belt. Very glad this is USA made and compared to the countless "cheap" belts I've gone through, I am glad to finally own one that is USA made and very well made.

This is by far the most comfortable belt I have ever worn, easy to get trough the belt loops in my blue jeans, and the buckle is not even noticeable against my belly. Will be buying again if needed.

The stretch belt with a small tip is perfect for me. It is never even half a notch off and always exactly fits. I had black, navy, and tan belts before and this completes my collection. My navy belt is 10 years old. I wear it almost every day - and it still works as good as when I bought it. I've had another navy stretch belt for years, but it still has the tag on it because the original still works so well. I have 8 stretch belts so far, but 3 still have the tags on them.

Belt is just OK. The large size fits a 34" waist well. The length was fine. The buckle is a bit flimsy and can be knocked out of shape easily. My biggest problem is with the non-buckle end(There must be a name for it). Is too large to fit through the buckle and the loop with a bit of wiggling. And the the leather finished end is very thick and that makes it very hard to pass through the belt loops on most pants. On the good side, the belt is highly adjustable.

Not worth even the small amount of money I paid. Because the frame of the buckle is leather, it wears out very quickly; and after one month or less the prong slips through the buckle frame and the whole belt pops loose!! There are many better stretchable belts out there. Buy one with an all-metal buckle.

I don’t know what any negative reviews are about and am beginning to believe they are not real reviews. I work in construction so my belts get rigorously tested. But I prefer some flexibility in my waistline so this design works great. The belt has held up so well after almost a year of use that I purchased a second. And the mere fact that it is made in USA gets my total contribution.
