Thule TracRac Universal Steel Rac , Black

This item is sold through Amazon, and not by Amazon. Therefore getting tracking information was difficult, and someone has to be there when they deliver it. I'm happy with the unit overall, a few minor complaints. I was missing 1 bolt, I'm meticulous when it comes to laying out for assembly, so I didn't "misplace" it. Not really a big deal. 5 minute trip to the hardware store and I was done. I've had the unit for about 2 months now, and have begun to notice some small areas of rust starting to form. I'm not really upset or surprised. It's difficult to powder coat something of these dimensions. Some rust reformer and it's good as new. Assembly can be done by 1 person, but installation is definitely a 2 person job. Take your time to get the angles all perfect, and you'll be satisfied with the results.

Funny how you show the middle support bar in the picture, yet it’s NOT included with initial purchase. Had to shell out an extra $100 for something that should have been included. The racks themselves were $750, too much.

This rack is very well-built with one exception the removable bar in the back had a defective piece which caused the holes not to lineup. Of course I had to drill it out quite a bit to make the pin that holds it go through and lock. But it was a hassle. I hated to cut through the powder coat finish because it just makes it rust sooner.

Did not fit on 2016 GMC Canyon. Seemed like a great rack otherwise.

Heavy duty rack I was able to assemble and install myself

Great. Started to hum around at 30 mph. Got rather loud. Wrapped para cord on the front. It broke up the wind flow and the hum went away.Works great. Nice to load my lumber without ruining the truck!!Liked the fact it clamps on.
