NAOTFootwear Womens Rome Sandal

I put these on right away and they were very comfortable. This is my first pair of Naot Sandals, I feel they are worth the price. I read the reviews about being somewhat small, I am a 7 1/2 to 8 depending on the maker and I am glad I ordered the 8, as they fit as expected. The color in the picture of the Blue is true to color. I only buy the mule type sandals as I hate thongs between my toes, let alone up my arse... so when i saw these I had to get them and I am so glad I did. I will definitely be buying more! I highly recommend!UPDATE: I Love these shoes so much I have since purchased the black and the Buffalo! Excellent well made shoes! Very happy!

First of all, NAOT shoes run very small. I normally wear 39 or 40 in Euro sizing, with a 40 fitting me very generously. I had to order this NAOT shoe in 42 to get it to fit, and it is still narrow (but the length is finally ok). Second, the workmanship of this shoe was extremely shoddy. They look like they belong in a bargain basement for failing quality control (except I had to pay full price). The stitching overall was poorly done, and didn't catch and secure some parts of the leather upper. The result is bits of rigid leather that dig into my foot because of the poor stitch work. The shoes also looked like they had been worn/walked in, especially the foot bed. I was very disappointed, because this is exactly the type of basic black slide I wanted, and now I have to return them. This makes 6 attempts of ordering various NAOTs, with a zero percent success rate. Time to move on.

I have worn the Ardisia sandal from Naot for several years and I own it in four colors. But it doesn’t come in blue, so I ordered the Rome instead. The Rome is definitely a more comfortable fit for my feet and I will be switching to it when it is time to replace my ardisia ones in the same color available in Rome. I will be buying the Rome. I would say the arch support is better and the width is a little wider than the Ardisia. I also like the polar ice blue shade of blue that this sandal has.

The shoes were fine, but the service was not. I tried them on when I got them and they seemed to fit right. I put them back in the box and waited until Spring to be able to wear them. I put them on and walked a little and they turned out to be smaller than I had originally perceived; they hurt my feet. I tried to return them (they are as new as when I got them) and my pleas have fallen in a no man's land (between Seller and Amazon) without any satisfactory response. Getting stuck with $144 shoes that I cannot wear is not a satisfactory response; mind you, these are not bargain shoes from obscure brands. I am definitely not happy with the service.

Naots fit a tad narrow. I bought a 41. Just a bit big in length. The insole is way comfy. The leather stretches and so I shrunk it a bit by placing the sandals in the dryer. They tightened but then stretched out again. I ended up buying a pair in a size 40, off of ebay for a great discount. I will be selling these on ebay. Bummer, I only wore them twice.

When I first found Naot shoes about ten years ago, I realized what a difference a comfortable shoe can make is all manner of life. Walking is my favorite exercise and travel walking the epitome of both.Naot wrote the book on comfort; I rave about them to anyone who will listen. Yes expensive but long lasting and a pleasure to put on each and every time I do.As a nurse, I would love to wear these to work but the open toes are a no-no. As a person with bunions on both feet, and a strong resistance to surgery since they do not hurt, I can walk miles on holidays and go the distance.Could not find the Naot Rome Sandal for a while and so glad Amazon has them again.

My podiatrist recommended this type of sandal to me two years ago because the footbed is removable and he can customize it for me like my orthotics. I couldn’t afford them until this year and they were SO worth the wait! They fit like a glove and are as smooth as butter. I would buy a second pair in a heartbeat if I could afford them.

The shoe is very high quality, nice leather. I really wish it came in a wide width however as I love the style. I had to return it as it was very tight (I have bunions) and there seemed to be no way it would stretch to fit my foot. My review really doesn't mean the quality of the shoe, it's just about width and comfort.

I freakin' love these sandals. My orthotics fit in them almost perfectly. I have bad feet and need orthotics for even walking in the house so these make it super easy to pull on and off. They are elegant enough that I can wear them with a sun dress or shorts. Shipping as usual was seamless through Amazon. The cost of the shoes could be less, but sometimes you just have to pay in order to get the right fit!

I was given a pair of this brand of shoe 25 yrs. by a friend who was not able to wear the shoes because of health issues.I checked the brand on the sole and went on line to find them.They have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. Wish they were not so expensive. I am a senior and it makes a big dint in my income..... Well worth it. Thanks

Ich habe die NAOT Schuhe wegen des Wechselfussbettes gekauft. Sie sind hochwertig verarbeitet, die Seiten genäht statt geklebt. Ich stehe mit den Sandalen schmerzfrei viele Stunden. Allerdings sind sie nicht für breite Füße gemacht, mein Fuß sitzt schon knapp an der Kante (im Vergleich sind Think Schuhe, sie ich sonst trage, etwas breiter geformt). Da man sie auch nicht verstellen kann muss man also etwas Glück haben.

I have been a NAOT consumer for a number of years. They are well made and extremely comfortable. I have always just bought, put them on and away I go. This is a company I trust. These sandals took a couple days to mold to my feet and now they are comfortable. They are the best!!
