The diameter of the insert is smaller than the 2021 Model Y hole, thus it falls out instead of staying in place while positioning the jack.

I ordered the Model Y jack pucks ..as the description and directions state to push the puck tab into the jack point holes on the Tesla and they will stay secure in the hole until the jack is positioned under them...This was not the case with the ones I received as the tabs were much smaller than the hole openings on the Model Y body...the pucks simply fell out of the jack point openings. I didnt return them because I had a Flat tire on my model Y and none of my local tire shops would put my Tesla on a lift . I had to take my tire off at home and drive it to a tire repair shop . Not sure if I received the wrong size even though the package stated model 3/Y ..too small

Only had my Model 3 (2021) for a month, but I used these to help me raise the car to paint my calipers. My wife laughed at me for doing that :) But these performed exactly as I wanted. I have two floor jacks, one is a newer low-profile jack that is more like you are supposed to have for these (wide cup to hold the puck) and the other is a really old, tried and true jack with the older style more narrow "cup". Narrow enough that the puck doesn't sit within the cup. Nevertheless, these pucks helped me use both jacks to raise one side of the car to help me do the job. Very satisfied. I keep these in the lower trunk so that I don't misplace them.

These Jack Pad Pucks are necessary for any Tesla owner. If you are have a unscheduled service call at an auto service center to replace a flat tire or other kind of service where the Tesla needs to be put on a lift or Jack, you needs these pucks to prevent damage to your battery pack. These pucks are particularly nice because they come with a professional looking zipper case you can keep in the Frunk for when the emergency happens. Stay organized and prepared. I would recommend these Jack Pad Pucks as your fist purchase after delivery of you new Tesla.
