Important book
This is an important book on current economics. How technology is really done and how the system needs to change to accomplish the critical goals for solving the climate crisis and wealth re-balancing. Mazzucato has a clear vision of what needs to be done and how, an important read for anyone interested in what a better future could look like.

Hope for the future
I am not an economist and don't know much about economics. Besides I'm not an English native speaker.Still I could follow Mazzuccato's pointsMy impression is that this book is directed both at specialists of the field and laypeople. And I assume this was Mazzuccato's main difficulty, to be able to engage both.In my case she was successful., though occasionally a bit repetitive in my opinionI want to give this book 5 stars if only for the hope that it can inspire in a world where it's difficult to find a sense of direction .I suppose specialists can follow up on Mazzuccato's ideas by exploring the many notes at the end of the book.
