THIS WORKS for backup camera to DVR car units!
Note that pins 2 & 3 (tip = pin 1) on the 2.5 mm jack pass through video from the RCA cable and ground uses pin 4.

Faulty wire
The wire produces a humming, evidently there are wires or connections crossed within the dongle. Does not work.

IT WORKS FOR ME
This allows for a most unusual connection. In my case it didn't work as intended, but its so cheap I'll just toss it in the 'possibles' drawer and use it in future. GOOD PRODUCT.
