My olderly dog has been struggling to eat as well lately and this was recommended by my sister in law who is a vet. This gel has really helped. Tried to put it in her food at first but she wouldn't touch it so instead I tried putting it straight into her mouth by rubbing it onto her gums which she has let me do. The first time she was very unsure and ran away but once she realised she actually didn't mind it she sits there now waiting for it licking her lips afterwards. With this and some other food we have been trying she seems so much better.

A great tonic for cats ...
This product perked my 19 yr elderly tom cat up quickly after a bout of illness. He loved the flavour! Would highly recommend.

Bought this for my dog who was very anaemic and refusing all food. 2 weeks of hand feeding and a teaspoon a day of nutri plus and he is much better and back to his greedy self.

Bought this to perk up my cat after buying from my vet the first time( double the price) She loves it and hoping it will help with renal problems

Good but expensive for medium - large dogs!
First my dog who is very picky at the moment due to poor liver health will actually lick this off the spoon. So that's an unexpected bonus.But the instructions actually say 1tsp per 5kg TWICE a day. She is currently 15kg so that's 6 tsp per day. At this rate a tube will not even last a week - so at least £60 a month (a bit cheaper if you go for the 2 tube option).However she seems to have picked up since starting this so I'll continue for a while. But I suspect the main ingredients could be replicated quite easily.It would clearly be more cost effective for a small animal like a cat though.

Cats Love it
I use this when the cats need a pick me up, if they have been ill or a bit low after feeding kittens. They just love it and try to eat from the tube :-)
