Beautiful, but quiet
This bell is very beautiful. It is dainty, but sturdy. The finish is smooth and it feels good to hold. Alas, the chime does not match. It is very quiet and tinny. It is like a small cheap Christmas jingle bell sound, but quieter. I was hoping for the loud bright sound like my other small brass bells. This looks nice, but is not loud enough for my needs.Update: I removed the original clapper and replaced it with a round metal bead on a wire. It is still a subtle ring, but sounds much more clear now!

Just what I needed for my travel altar.
The media could not be loaded. In my opinion, this is a cute little bell. It is metal and I believe it will hold up nicely for what I'm planning to use it for. I recommend having a pouch to place it in so not to be misplaced. It's just the size I needed in my travel altar to aid me during meditations.

It's a beautiful bell.....but a lot smaller than anticipated...
It's a beautiful bell, albeit, so much smaller than I had expected. It will make a nice gift, rather than use it for what was intended, for you can barely hear it.
