Almost *too* difficult to remove, but does what it says. No one is opening an envelope or sealed item protected by this tape without leaving obvious evidence.I am a security professional with 18 years' experience in both cyber and real-world intrusion, and as long as all potential openings are covered, nobody's getting past this without buying a sample and experimenting extensively with chemical solvents. Which brings you to (Kevin) Poulsen's Law - the point of security is making gaining access more difficult than the access itself is worth.Which is what we have here - something to use when intrusion would make a delay evident, or evidence of access would negate the value of the contents or prove that compromise had taken place. Most useful, for many reasons.

I was in need to seal up a few boxes and containers for climate controlled storage and wanted to make sure they weren't tampered with. The void marks on this tape will show up on paper, plastic and even plastic bags. I haven't tested it on metal or wood. I layered a strip of a wider clear tape over the void tape to provide a bit more grip on the edges. It is important though to not leave the roll of tape anywhere there is a chance of extreme heat (a car, for example). Like any other tape thats been exposed to high heat the adhesive will break down and gum up in the tape roll and the product won't work as intended.I foresee buying this product again when I need another roll. It's an easy and cheap quick fix to find out if you're around nosy lookie-loos. It can also deter some people once they realize what the tape does. Pairs well with a hidden camera, and if you want to be extra nefarious, a thief powder ;)

First time using a security tape, but I was expecting it to work “out of the box”. Meaning I put a strip on a package and expected it would be evident when I peeled it off, not so. It works sometimes and says it has to be left on the surface for some time before working well. Thing is, I got it for securing mail packages and if it isnt working well before I mail the item then I don’t know if it will work when it arrives at the destination. I will still use it up because I dont want to waste it, but I plan on trying a different product after.

Works well but after a short time I noticed some of the boxes that got hot in my storage unit (after only a month) the tape came off without leaving a security print. It’s a good short term solution for getting things from point A to point B.

The tape was easy to handle and performed as expected. However it would be so nice if it came on a cheap plastic roller/holder like Scotch tape. It was hard to get it back working if it sealed back on itself

Bought this tape to test for a government contract testing numerous security tapes and as an expert tested carefully this tape in my lab.. Tested this in my lab and found that it provides no security whatsoever and my results show I can easily remove this tape, tamper with or replace the contents of the package, and reapply the tape with no evidence of tampering whatsoever - you will never know it was opened. This tape is easily removed with many methods such as a hot hair gun, steam, cold, solvents such as acetone, rubbing alcohol. mineral spirits and many other methods. My lab results prove without doubt that this tape is worthless as a security tape. Any amateur can remove it with many methods and thus provides no protection at all and thus you are wasting your money on a false sense of security as any packing tape provides equal protection.

I'm using this to cover a key lock that I never use and it works perfectly. I'm so very satisfied with the sensitivity of this product and it's effectiveness that I would recommend it to anyone. It doesn't just stick to paper and plastic products but it also sticks to metal, wood and even skin (so be cautious of that). Whomever is tampering with your product is going to have a hell of a time covering their tracks and recreating the original taping. I'm very satisfied with this. Thank you.

Good, however i think it would be better if it was stong as a parcel sealed tape, therefore it would be a two in one
