Triple 8 Street Protective Pack

I'm a low-impact street skater who wants to learn to drop in on small ramps. I'm more concerned with cut/scrape protection than I am with broken bones. I'm also in a hot climate. These two factors make these pads perfect for me.First off, the butterfly back makes them easy to take on and off, while still being secure. Additionally, the soft neoprene of the butterfly strap is the part that touches your actual skin, so it's less irritating than than the velcro straps would be. The mesh on the elbow guards is light weight and airy, but makes for a secure fit that is enhanced by the velcro straps. Because they are light weight, they are flexible and easy to move in. Because they are light weight, you would still end up with a gnarly bruise/busted kneecap if you crashed from the top of an 8' foot bowl and landed in the flat. You're giving up padding/impact absorption in favor of mobility. Trying to take a 4 stair first time, these will probably work. Learning to backside 180 on 8' quarter pipe might feel a bit sketchier and less secure.Ultimately, I kept these because I'm a low impact skater that just didn't want to cut up my knee every time I crashed trying to bs 50/50 the tiny rail at my local skate park. These are perfect for me.

These are legitimate TripleEight pads. They're extremely comfortable and rock solid. I took a nasty slam last week and skinned both elbows, knees etc. I wish I had these when I fell, because the damage wouldn't have been so severe.I've been skateboarding for 14 years and pads have always been seen as "uncool," but safety is more important than how other people see you. You've only got one body, so preserve it. If you're an older skater and you're considering protective equipment, buy these ones.

Mir passen die Teile und ich fühle mich sicher damit. Allerdings fahre ich auch NICHT DOWNHILL oder VERT, aber von einer 1,50m hohen Quater hab ich den Drop-in schon mal verpatzt und meinen Knien geht es immer noch prima.Bin 1,70m groß und ca 80kg und die Schoner passen.Wenn ich jetzt im Herbst allerdings mit Jacke skate, muss ich die Ellbogenschoner auf den Pulli aber unter die Jacke packen. Aber wenn sie mir mit Jacke passen würden, wären sie mir im Sommer ohne Pulli auch viel zu groß.Kaufempfehlung
