Based on another customer's review, I purchased these to add mobility to my IKEA Omar shelf (the tall one) on which I store sewing & crafting machines and materials. Total weight may be 150lb.I've tried several other casters but these screwed perfectly into the original Omar "sleeves" once the levelling feet are removed. Hoping they remain functional and don't bend or break as others have.Not certain what the other pieces (adapters?) are for-- ??

Put them on two different older ikea desks and they roll really well even on carpet the other is on tileThe brakes are easy to lock and positive as in mot mushy are they lockedand when desk is in place having 4 locks makes the desk solid unlike some sets that have only two brakesThe wrench did not fit at all ? Not a huge deal as I reckon most getting wheels will have some kinda wrench to use but you do need a thinner wrench did not take stars away for a wrench that does not work as IMHO this price its not about the stuff that comes with itThe inserts are nice to have if you want to put them into wood and they look to be decent so the package as a whole for metric stuff like Ikea is a great optionSo far holding up and build seems solid enough for the use

These are slick little wheels and I’m going to get another set. Smooth rolling and I love the brake that can be activated by foot.Like another reviewer said, these work with a lot of IKEA stuff. In my case, the Fabrikör cabinet. However, the feet started bending when weight was added into the cabinet. Solution was kind of simple: just added a piece of wood between the footing and the x brace. A standard 1x piece of wood at 3/4” fits into the x brace perfectly and snugly. Then I added a couple zip ties to capture it. The load of the cabinet actually holds the wood in.

Not really built for hard use. I replaced the feet on a shop chair with these castors. I'm 180 lbs so within the weight limitations for 4 castors and the shafts began to end shortly after installation. (I expect the rating is for dead weight rather than live load)If you're looking for a castor that will get some use, look for one where the shaft is directly above the wheel reducing the amount of shear force on the shaft

I purchased a racing sim from Europe and they have metric threads (M8x1.25) on the bottom for threaded feet.I thought it would be a better use to have wheels on it so I can move it around a lot easier. I have a projector screen and we like to play other games as well, so being able to move it around easily would be a big help.They work great! Even on a tight knit carpet the entire sim rig rolls easily. The wheels are wide enough to glide over the carpet. Love them!

Bought these would make chair manuver better on carpeted floor. Later used on chair on hard laminate floor where should excel. Found chair get binded up trying to roll one angle, have jiggle around in directions to get chair where want to go. But, what ended this product for me was when heard bearings drop out of the spindle that pivots (not the wheel). ALso the tallness put additional torque on the plastic chair base breaking fit of the post. When removed all the wheels to try and transfer to replacement base, saw they all were struggling with integrity of the bearings. Ordered different new wheels that are working great and chair moves around much better like it should.While this probably a good product for skinny person, tired of the glut of products that pop up on amazon with exuberant positive reviews that often are bribed (that giftcard offer) ones. Though I not receive offer for this product, just making difficult to find those great products where have to but multiple versions until just right or meets the needs.

The dimensions described are precise and that helped me to choose it. These wheels are supporting a two-motor adjustable table with a steel frame, plus displays, computers, and other stuff. They handled it like it was a piece of cake. They roll better than I expected and solved my issue of moving this massive table around. Installation was a breeze and all parts needed where there.

I have an old cart that I use for crafting supplies and the tiny plastic wheels just didn't want to roll on the floors. I bought these and replaced the wheels and they work great! The only issue I had with installing them was that two of the sockets the wheels go in broke when taking the old wheels out (they are plastic), so I ended up using gorilla glue to hold them in place. Not a big deal for me because if the wheels ever have to be replaced, it will probably be time to replace the cart as well.
