Astro makes great work lights and this is one of them.
I really like the quality of my other Astro hand-held work lights. They are very rugged, bright and last a long time on a single charge. I had a cheaper HF LED "wand" with a under-hood adapter but this Astro seems to be at least 2x as bright. I work out in my driveway on lots of bright sunny days and I need to be able to see down inside the engine compartment. Most lights don't do much vs the bright sun, this one lights everything up way down inside. Considering it sells for less than most of the other lights and a lot less than some of the big brand names, this is a really great buy.

Perfect
I bought this light to show off the engine compartment of my Camaro for car shows. It is perfect. Very bright and the light can be angled in many directions so that the lights do not shine in your eyes. The end hooks are spring loaded and hold onto the edges of the hood firmly but they are padded so they don’t leave marks. The first time I used this light the battery lasted for 3 hours on high. I recommend this light to anyone looking for a portable bright light for showing or working under the hood.

Dosnt last long
Bought this about 2 years ago and now it barley puts any light out it was great at first but the longevity is horrible...I wouldn't recommend anyone who plans on using it for a living buy it

Underhood light
works grate for my use in the shop wish it was tad brighter it stays in place holds a charge so far but i have only had it a few months and used it a hand full of times

This thing is awesome
I wish I would have had one of these years ago. Just did a head gasket replacement on the Daughters Civic and this light was a great help!!

Another home run from Astro
I've had an Astro handheld light for years and it's been indestructible so I bought this for under the hood. Very well built, excellent lighting, and you can run it from the cord all day if needed. It's a high quality piece of equipment.

Good Under Hood Light
Best feature: it stays where you put it. Doesn't spin around like others that have bungee type cord to fasten it to the hood. Long battery life too.
