Zipper Seal was terrible; Pellet size was not consistent bag-to-bag. Food was otherwise satisfactory.
(May 30, 2016 Update at bottom)A brother purchased this a second time now on my behalf for my 2 Cockatiels. We were tired of the far-spread seed shells. My birds were on a seed-only diet prior due to pellets being more expensive, and my funds weren't exactly great. Hence why someone else started buying these for me. Luckily, my birds proved to be not so picky with their food and switching was very easy for them. (Switched in 3 days. Complete absence of seeds and they began eating pellets immediately.)I will say this: The zipper seal on the bag is terrible! The glue gluing it to the sides of the bag give way easier that the zipper itself. The seal between the zipper seal and the bag developed a hole that got bigger over time on the first bag, so I had to seal it some other way. On the second bag, I couldn't even get the zipper stripes/teeth apart before the surrounding plastic edges of the zipper tore making it impossible to grip the opposing sides to try and pry apart the teeth. So I tried opening it like a chip bag hoping the zipper would open that way, but the zipper seal just came unglued, rendering the zipper meaningless. Now I come to comparing the 2 bags. They were both this same product listing here(arrived in identical bag/packaging too), but the fist bag had micro pellets as shown in the picture, which were nice and easy for my birds to eat without mess. The second bag however, has pellets about 6-7 times the size of the micro pellets. They are as big around as the fat sunflower seeds in my birds' old seed diet. They can manage, but they are dropping a lot of the pellets (in their water too) and some pieces when they break them go flying. Welcome back seed-diet mess problems. I am considering putting the pellets in a big Ziploc bag and hitting them a couple times with a rolling pin to break them down a little. So in all, This is a good product, but I think mistakes were made in the pellet-to-bag packaging process. Someone put pellets for bigger birds in our second bag. And of course, the zipper seal was terrible on both our bags.May 30 2016 Edit: It came time to order another bag, and because a mote recent review mentioned them being "too small," I thought maybe they returned to micro pellets. AND THEY DID! They have returned to being pellets 2 mm in width! I am quite happy with the result!

Kaytee vs ZuPreem
I’m in the process of converting my two cockatiels from a seed diet to a pellet diet, and between this Kaytee brand and ZuPreem, this appears to be the preferred brand. For one of my cockatiels, at least. I’ve read so many things about it being difficult to convert these birds to a different food, but my younger one dove right into a bowl of this without hesitation. My only guess is that these pellets are a similar size to the seeds they’ve been eating and the young bird couldn’t tell the difference, haha. Whatever the reason, I’m very happy she wasn’t picky about the change, because a pellet diet is healthier. Maybe Kaytee isn’t the healthiest of the pellet food brands, but it’s better than nothing and it’s all about the bird’s taste preference anyway. My second cockatiel has yet to try this. Of the two, he’s the pickier eater, so it’s going to have to be a longer process with him. I’m hopeful the switch will be easy. I had no luck getting either bird to touch ZuPreem. Which isn’t to say the other brand (Kaytee) is “better,” just that it’s different. ZuPreem’s pellets are larger and a bit harder than Kaytee pellets and the colorful pellets have a tropical or Froot Loopy smell to them that didn’t appeal to my birds. Kaytee’s pellets don’t have the best smell, but it isn’t overwhelming. If you’re looking to switch your cockatiel from seeds to pellets, I highly recommend giving Kaytee and ZuPreem a try. I know, I know; it can be costly to buy a big bag of food your feathered floof might not like. Kaytee is decently priced for a 3 pound bag and, if you go on ebay, there’s a shop called happy*pet*products that sells smaller sample bags of Zupreem for a decent price. I have ordered from them twice and found them to be very trustworthy sellers. My birds refused to touch any of the Zupreem and it wasn’t much of a waste in pellets or money. The price of this food on Amazon is very reasonable and actually costs less than the seed brand I’ve been purchasing at Wal-Mart. Overall, I’ve very happy with this purchase and will be buying again.

Discontinued, replaced by much more expensive Nutrisoft
Was a good, affordable option for my birds. But now they want a way to squeeze their customers of more money. Corporate greed. Sorry Kaytee, you've lost a customer. Will be using Roudybush from now on.

Great bird food
Kaytee exact Natural Cockateil pellets. My birds love these healthy natural pellets. Suncoast pet supply did a great job with secure packaging so food did not shift while in transit. Great long expiry dates on bags. Very fresh. Glad to have found this food online from this pet supply seller. Thank you.
