Q: how thick is this product?

It's not a solid D shape but is thick enough. The adhesive is in 2 strips along the sides. I was hoping for a solid strip, but it held. I used it for the roof drain channels on my truck between the window trims going front to back. I allowed for shrinkage, but it still shrunk more in the sun in length than I expected. I needed to keep pushing it down to stick, but once stuck it held tight. I would want a solid D shape strip for side molding but this would work, just the ends would not be as finished.
